“Great place to stay in Palenque”

A lovely hotel: separate bungalows with rocking chairs on the porch and howler-monkey's in the treetops. Good restaurant (a bit pricey though), big pool en very quiet surroundings. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.

“Very pleasant experience”

This resort hotel is situated on the road to the Palenque ruins, set in some nice grounds with adjacent stretches of original forest, with some minor trails. The chalets were very nicely situated, very spacious and excellently maintained - as were the grounds themselves. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Area recommendations
Set in the countryside, there is no city as such - and the nearby town of Palenque has nothing to offer at all. The reasons for staying here have to be proximity to the fabulous Palenque ruins. Nearby waterfalls - Aqua Azul and Misol-ha - are kind of cute for an hour or so, but that's about all there is otherwise.

“Charming resort as close to Palenque as possible”

This is a beautifully maintained and charming resort, with beautiful casita for all the guests. Two beautiful pools. Drinks ay poolside after a day at the ruins was very welcome. Rooms all had patios outside, comfortable beds, a nice shower, good television reception, free internet in the tienda, and many other amenitites. A mere 5 minute bus ride to the Palenque site Museum and the ruins themselves. The collectivo bus runs on the road just outside the resort and is easy to catch.
