Excellent Host/delicious homemade pastries!!
Ángels is an excellent HOST as she responds to all messages promptly, answers ant questions, informative, speaks several languages fluently and provides an awesome breakfast!!!! Many pastries were homemade as she is an expert baker. Her accommodations are described and photos are accurate. I personally like access to a kitchen area or space and utensils to make sandwiches to take on daily outings and that is not included here but it is also not advertised to include this. There is a little refrigerator in community area to use.

The owner Angela made all the difference to my stay, welcoming, offering advice and information if you want it. Felt safe and knew I could contact her at anytime. Good location as slightly outside of old town, but greener and felt like more locals out and about. Such a great city to visit!

Angela and her staff are wonderful hosts at the heart of Palermo. The property is very well located, close to transportation options and completely walkable to any part of the old and modern centers of the city. Angela puts out an amazing breakfast every morning and successfully competes with the cafe down the street with any drink request one may have.

This was our first time staying at a B&B so we were a little skeptical. However, it was great. The location was fabulous, close to everything. The room was super comfortable. We had our own spacious bathroom, and Angela, the host/owner of Amélie B&B, was the best. She made our stay feel like home. She had a hearty breakfast laid out each morning for the guests. She answered all our questions about where to go visit and shop, she even ordered us a taxi when it was time to leave. We feel Angela made our stay so much better than had we stayed at a hotel. We highly recommend Amélie B&B.

Perfect B&B for exploring Palermo
this was such a lovely place. Easy walk to the historic area and so many places to see and eat. Also close to the more modern and elegant area as well. Very safe feeling neighborhood. was out walking at night til at least 11. Angela was so friendly and kind. Breakfast was plentiful, coffee was excellent. large bathroom was mine but across the hall. may not be to everyone's taste but fine with me. Wifi worked great. would absolutely recommend this place and stay here again

Last days of holiday
central to shopping plaza and part of the old town. A decent walk to station and bus depot for those that don't want that if baggage an issue. great location to walk around and take in the sights, chose a restaurant of which there are many! Buildings are incredible.

Amelie is very well situated, a nice area, within walking distance of a lot of the sights and close to the airport bus stop. Our room was much tinier than we expected and did not have a small balcony overlooking the pedestrian street which we were also expecting. However it didn’t matter much as we were hardly there. So much to see and do in Palermo. Angela is wonderful, very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast is excellent, lots of variety, particularly homemade cakes and pastries, good espresso and capuchins. Would definitely recommend this bnb and stay there again if we return to Palermo one day.

ciao jose thank you for your review, especially for the nice words about me ;-) I write an answer so that everyone can read it and I can explain something about my property! Noone of my rooms have balconies overlooking the pedestrian street. I have 3 rooms with balconies that overlook via Principe di Granatelli that is the parallel street of via Principe di Belmonte. All these 3 rooms have their bathrooms set in front of the rooms, across the hall . These rooms are a double, twin and the triple room with "private external bathroom" The 2 rooms with ensuite bathrooms do not have any balcony, so since you booked a room with ensuite bathroom I do not know why you were expecting a balcony. Sorry for that . In my website is clearly written the description of each room! Thank you again and take care!

Perfect location.
Perfect location on pedestrianised Street. Yards from the Old Quarter. Quiet and safe with many restaurants close by. Perfect host who was a fountain of knowledge. Would highly recommend.

The location of the property is in excellent neighborhood, near the old town and not too far from Central Station. Everything is walking distance. Angela is very courteous and helpful.

We had an amazing time here. Angela is the perfect host, she makes you feel like family, and has great recommendations for how to spend your days in Sicily and nearby areas. She also makes an amazing breakfast every morning that you are welcome to partake in at your leisure -- including coffee, espresso, cappuccino, etc! My girlfriend and I loved our time there, and high recommend Amelie to anyone looking to go to Palermo. It is walking distance to anything you'd want to do in Palermo, and not far from the train and bus stations as well. Thank you, Angela!!!!

Hospitality reigns at Amelie's
Amelie's hospitality is exceptional. It started as soon as we booked a room with her. She had such good communication. She made us feel so welcomed and we weren't even there yet. Upon arrival, she continued to make us feel so welcomed in her home. The room was clean and comfortable. Amelie went out of her way to set up a car service to take us to the airport the next day. They were prompt and courteous. Breakfast was a full spread of homemade goods and a great cup of coffee. More than enough to eat. If we return to Palermo; we will definitely book Amelie's place again! If I could offer any construction criticism; it would be to offer robes to guests when the restroom is outside the bedroom. This is definitely not a deal breaker though. The location is right in the middle of all the action of Palermo; near shops and good coffee & pastries. Quiet neighborhood!

Super accommodation in central Palermo
We enjoyed our stay in Palermo. Angela provides super accommodation in central Palermo with all the city sights close by. Angela is friendly, helpful and efficient. We learned a lot about the city and Sicilian way of life as we chatted to Angela over breakfast. Amelie B&B is an absolute gem.

We would strongly recommend this B&B. Angela the owner was an excellent host, who made this holiday one to remember. The location was central, the host went to great length to make our stay very comfortable and most helpful. Fantastic bed and breakfast
Amelie has a great location close to the centre and the main attractions in Palermo. It's also really convenient for the airport bus. The room was very clean and comfortable and the bathroom was modern and refurbished. The breakfast is also very plentiful with home made jam and cakes and Angela makes a great cappuccino to start the day. It is close to the main shopping street and there are a number of nice bars and restaurants close by. We will definitely stay here again when we next visit Palermo.

A Palermo Gem!
What an amazing find! Tucked away a few yards from one of the main streets of Palermo in the City Center is this B&B gem - simple, absolutely spotless, pleasant, and very good value. Our large room, with an ensuite bathroom, had good, efficient air conditioning, a very comfortable bed, and was quiet. The breakfast was very good (delicious cappuccino, yogurt, granola, fruit, pastries, home-made tiramisu, bread, jam, etc) but, best of all is Angela, the owner and host and her adorable daughter, Mathilde, who we had the pleasure to meet! Angela knows Palermo inside and out and is very helpful and kind. She made us feel right at home and we truly enjoyed talking with her (even in my very fractured Italian : ) If we have the opportunity to visit Palermo again, we will definitely stay at the Amelie and would look forward to visiting with Angela and Mathilde again! Great Palermo location.
Very well located b&b. So quiet inside, but there can be a bit of street noise, we used the A/C to mute it. Breakfast was a bit uneven, we were there four nights, some days they offerings were better than others. Angela is delightful and very helpful. Only complaint was the drain in the shower for the triple. It was so slow and with the absence of a lip to divert the water, the first morning I unknowingly filled the bathroom with water seeping under the door. After that, we turned the water on and off during the shower in order to stay ahead of the drain.

We spent an excellent two nights at Amelie. It is located in a good area and the rooms have everything you could need. Angela is a friendly and helpful host. We arrived early from the ferry, and she took time out from serving breakfast to her current guests to show us around and give us her insights as to what we should go and see. Breakfasts were delicious and different each day, although a bit heavy on the pastries. We were very happy with all aspects of our stay.

Very special if you with to experience Palermo.
Especially welcoming and homely. Angela the host is fantastic with advise and is a very natural down to earth person very aware of different interests and needs. Breakfasts, advice, great location and good fun if you stay for a few days with other guests. We would happily recommend Amélie to those open to real Sicily, their culture, history and Sicilians.
