Good Hotel good base for exploring Palermo AreaPosted Oct 5, 2013
Pros: We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel which is very well appointed the rooms are just as you see on the website lovely.
Cons: If you cannot negotiate the steps a lift or escalator down to the sea would be an idea as quite a few of the older generation were at the Hotel
Location: Not much to do in the Immediate area, you will have a long walk if you try to go anywhere on foot so take the bus or hire a car.
Sicily is a nice country with some extremely nice views including the one from the Hotel. The food is OK if you like Fish my wife does not so the menu's are limited if you want meat of any description, please note that we only had breakfast's in the hotel which were fine. If you decide to drive which I did be prepared for a bit of a roller coaster ride, although roller coasters are safer, anything can happen cars , motorcycle's, scooters, lorries, buses and pedestrians all conspire to cause an accident which I cannot believe I did not have, but this all added to our Italian experience which all in all was Fantastic. Palermo is a wonderful place to visit some great Monuments etc., we also went to Segesta another wonderful place if you like Historical places. If you like the beach then Cefalu is the place to go.

Pros: The location and it's modern vibe. It's been renovated beautifully.
Beautiful location, lovely hotel and great staff. Book a transfer from the airport with the hotel. It is half the price of a taxi.

Nicest hotel we stayed at during our tripPosted Sep 10, 2013
Hotel was both very nice and clean. Staff was more than helpful. We got in after a long drive and we were tired and hungry. The staff brought us food to our room even though the restaurant was closed. Everyone was very friendly. They have a nice pool/bar area. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Really nicePosted Aug 8, 2013
Stayed 2 nights and enjoyed it. Great hotel , great pools and great access to the sea. The views are terrific. Nice contemporary design. Good location. Had lunch at the pool restaurant near the beach... Not great... And service took for ever. But overall this hotel was really nice.

Perfect for a family vacationPosted Jul 30, 2013
Pros: Family friendly, access to beach (beautiful waters) fun tours.
Cons: It was a not pricey.
My husband I decided to take our 5 year old to PALERMO for his 5th bday. He love the beach and I heard amazing things about PALERMO. The hotel was amazing we were allowed to check in 4 hours early at no cost, from there in our experience just got better. Super family friendly hotel, really clean which is a must for us. Most of all we had everything we needed without having to leave the resort.

Big, but nice hotel with poor servicePosted Jul 26, 2013
Pros: The pool areas and seaside beach is very nice, comfortable, spacious.
Cons: The staff: language skills, knowledge, attitude. Breakfast: fresh veggies, fruits
Location: Very nice location, but you definetly need a car, as the suttle service is very expensive, and you'll have much bigger freedom. Surrounding worth car.
The hotel is very big, so those who doesn't like these kind of hotels, not recommended. They have a very strange design, with bright colours and pictures about celebrities from the past. We stayed (3 girls) on the pink floor which was REALLY pink! Which is okey, but I hardly can imagine a man on this floor. The outside area is great. The staff has to learn a lot still. Can't speak in english, has no clue about lots of things, I felt them absolutly disorganized. There are no fresh vegetables and fruits for the breakfast!!! And sometimes you have to wait for the bread for 10-15 mins as it is just simply not enough for all the guests. We were happy not to order dinner as well. Much better to go to Porticello (little village next to the hotel area) where you can find great restaurants! The hotel is full of animator activities. But the most interesting and probably disturbing one is the music/dancing event EVERY evening, which is held at the middle of the hotel's open-air area, sorrunded by the rooms! So those who wanna go sleep before 1:00 am, not a good choice. The room was okey, and cleaned every day. Overall it is fine, but need imporvement.

Great stay!Posted May 26, 2013
Santa Flavia is about 20 minutes from the city of Palermo. This can be an issue for those who would like to wander around Sicily. However, if you would like to have a low-key holiday, this place is wonderful! Also, we booked an 'internal' room, which is fantastic if you're a light sleeper, as the ocean views tend to pick up more noise from the bar, below. All in all, this place was fantastic. The staff was friendly and the resort overall is extremely clean. Gorgeous view of Porticello, and the pool is excellent. You're also in walking distance of the ruins from a 4th century Phoenician town. Absolutely coming back!

Quiet ad relaxing in Art Deco luxury.Posted May 25, 2013
Pros: The bar.
The hotel is lovely and well worth the 4 stars. However travellers should bear in mind it's location if you do not have a car. It's about 30 minute walk to the train station.
