Over priced dumpPosted Oct 27, 2010 on Hotels.com
Wow, this place claims to be 4 star and comes with a 4 star price tag. It is tired, run down, and the rooms smell like stale smoke. The hallways need painting. Zero European charm. Seems more like a truck stop hotel on the inside. The other guests were package tourists.

Not much for the moneyPosted Apr 14, 2010
I had a wonderful tour through Sicily. I really loved the countryside and amazing history. My wife and I wanted to treat ourselves to a nice hotel at the end of our stay. I picked a hotel that was centrally located and appeared to be nice. The price was double the cost of the other hotels we stayed at in tourist areas around the island. When we arrived the person at reception was curt and uninviting. The lobby was nice if a bit worn. When we got to our room we could not believe what a dump it was for the price. Not a picture on the wall. Not decoration at all. The room was reasonably clean but the window looked out at a lightless walled area. I was not impressed with this hotel Parking was exremely limted. We were lucky to have returned our rental car just before checking in.

Friendly, Comfortable Well Run HotelPosted Dec 16, 2009
The Junior Suite we were assigned was very pleasant, two large rooms, well decorated with a huge king size bed and two well appointed bath rooms. The room overlooked the impressive Piazza Pretoria. The hotel was within convienient walking distance to all of the major sites of Palermo; and the staff most helpful. A roof top retaurant featured a menu of well prepared Sicilian fare; while the adjoining bar offered an attractive setting for drinks at the end of the day. We would happily return to or recommend this hotel.

Very NicePosted Oct 19, 2009 on Hotels.com
This hotel is directly across from Piazza Pretoria - a great location since I have a relative that lives across the piazza. We stay at Sole because it is clean, great breakfast and very professional staff at the desk.

Wonderful HotelPosted May 12, 2009 on Hotels.com
We were very pleased with this hotel. We had one queen size bed, so no need to push two beds together to make it one. Also the bathroom was very roomy with a big tub and two shower heads along with a shower curtain that covered 95% of the tub! Great bathroom. The room was a little stuffy (we were there in April), but we left the window wide open which helped cool down the room. Location is perfect. It was in the old part of Palermo and in walking distance to the Markets and the Catacombe. We highly would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Palermo Premium Hotel. The Very Best.Posted Apr 17, 2009
I like this hotel because it is located in the center of Palermo, convenient to busses, taxis, train station, historic sites, and churches. The staff is exceptional in service, the food is superior, and the room is clean and bed comfortable. I highly ecommend it to my fellow travelers.

Not a 4 starPosted Oct 8, 2008
The staff at this hotel was not the friendliest. Only the receptionist who checked us in, he seemed to be able to smile. Also the walls are so thin, I could hear the person next door flushing their toiler and/or having a shower. We were on the 4th floor and you could always hear chairs and tables being moved, footsteps etc. The hotel rooftop bar is very nice, but closes quite often for private hire. The breakfast was good, buffet style, and the rooms were cleaned everyday. These were the plus points!

Excellent hotel : modernité et confort à proximité des monumentsPosted Sep 9, 2008 on Hotels.com
Un des rares hotels modernes de palerme. Très belle terrasse romantique pour diner avec la vue sur les toits éclairés des monuments.
