"Good downtown location"
Excellent location close to restaurants, shops and just off historical district on a pedestrian street. Well kept hotel. We were in the residence , the older section. We had a large efficiency unit- clean but not renovated. We could not use the kitchen because we had taken the "room only " price - Still very good for the what we paid in Palermo.

"Would highly recommend"
Great location! Close to Theatre Massimo (opera house), airport shuttle, train and bus station, the cathedral, the market - we walked for hours and enjoyed the experience. The room was great, the staff were friendly and helpful. Some touches that stood out were - a bowl of fresh apples in the main check-in area, as well as a jug of water that included fresh lemon slices. We had an excellent meal at the roof top restaurant. Even though we were on a busy street it was very quiet. Would definitely return.

"Excellent hotel"
Everything about the hotel was first class, quiet air conditioned rooms, great location, good breakfast, valet parking, helpful staff friendly service. Four of us, two couples, stayed 4 nights in September 2014 and this was our first stop on a trip around Sicily. Palermo is an amazing city, like an Italy on steroids, everything, the good and the bad, amplified. We enjoyed all of it, the people, the traffic, the markets, the historic old buildings and the food. Palermo was safe and we had nothing but positive experiences. We want to go back!

"Close to airport bus stop"
The hotel is close to the airport bus stop. It is situated opposite Prada and Politeama Hotel. It costs 6.30 Euros per person to the airport. Tickets are purchased on the bus. If purchasing bus tickets for around Palermo you can buy these from a kiosk. It is better to buy tickets for multiple days as this is the cheaper option. Otherwise a single trip ticket is valid for only 90 minutes from the time you punch it in. For a family pizza try Dimas for 12.50 Euros. Excellent quality, and only a short walk away from the hotel. A number 806 bus will take you to the seaside. The number 101 bus will take you to Independence Piazza from where you can catch the 389 to the catacombs. 101 stops just outside the hotel.

Ai Cartari

"cozy, well located bed and breakfast."
The Ai Cartari is located on a narrow street which at first seems to be in a warren of narrow streets but is actually very close to two main vias. The room was on the backside of the building with its own private entrance. The room was huge and divided into three areas, the bedroom, a central sitting area, and another sitting area and the bathroom. the room contains a refrigerator. There is a cafe and a large restaurant very close by. Breakfast was delicious, pastries. jams and fruit with good Italian coffee. The owner was very helpful. I would stay here again.
