Great holiday retreat!

Posted May 31, 2015
We really enjoyed our stay a this hotel in the delightful seaside town of Cefalu. The hotel staff were always very helpful and we made good use of the facilities which include a tennis court and swimming pool. The location makes the hotel ideal for sightseeing locally e.g. Norman castles, train into Palermo, coach/boat trips or just enjoying the sunshine on the beach.

Beautiful surroundings

We love our stay in Sicily, in no small measure, due to the beauty & comfort of Paraidiso hotel. Good food, beautiful spa, a free bus to downtown Cefalu and the beach, very clean rooms, and a helpful, pleasant staff. We were in Italy 2 weeks and this was our favorite place.

Beautiful hotel in quiet but handy location

Posted May 24, 2015
We have just returned from a mini tour of Sicily and spent the last 5 days at this wonderful hotel located just above the resort of Cefalu with fine views and an easy walk into town although a courtesy bus is laid on. This place really cannot be faulted with staff who really are keen that you have a nice relaxing time. The food is first class both at breakfast and dinner and Davide really knows how to make a cocktail! Lovely pool are and gardens. Wife used the spa which she tells me were great . For a pampered break with wonderful staff look no further.

Pros: Great location. Hotel had a courtesy van to center of the town.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Nothing nearby, had to go to town 10 minute drive.
The hotel staff was very efficient and friendly. Lobby was nice with bar and restaurant.

Excellent hotel. Good location and very well run.

Pros: Front of House service, location, cleanliness
Cons: Very little
Location: A bit out on the edge of the town, but this is fine if you are fit and can walk down and uphill. No restauarants nearby, but plenty in the town centre
We had a very good stay at the Alberi Del Paradiso. Although out of season we were made to feel very welcome by the friendly and professional staff. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. The breakfasts were excellent and the rooms comfortable and clean. We did not use many of the facilities as it was so early in the season, but could see that there would be plenty to do at the height of the season. The views out over the town to the castle rock and the cathedral were stunning and worth getting a room on that side of the hotel. The hotel is located about 10 minutes walk downhill to the lovely old town and a 15-20 minute walk back, depending on your health! There is a large free car park and easy access to the railway station to get into Palermo. We thoroughly recommend the hotel as a base for exploring northern Sicily.

great view of Rocco and Cefalu

Posted Dec 5, 2014
Pros: The atmospehere and the service and the comfortable bed with a great view and nice sized balcony
Cons: Bathroom window was great but the shower curtain was not so clever, needs blinds so you can position them to see the view whilst bathing
Location: All near enough if you like walking as we do, walked up the Rocca and toured the town and the Harbour and the beach all in one day no problem.
Lovely, friendly and calming (low season) Hotel. Davido was the perfect Host , just like a personal Butler providing us with a scrumptious breakfast. All staff were most helpful too , especially with booking our taxis and airport transfer. (Much cheaper via them than doing it yourself online via links provided or sought out ourselves). Position does need some ability to enjoy a walk up hill on the way home, as no shuttle out of peak season, but it was worth it for the view and the pretty gardens housed lots of singing birds. The pool was not a viable option when we were there in Novenmber, though it was 22-26 degrees, which is a shame as I would have liked a pre-breakfast swim and had intended do that when I booked. It simply had not been cleaned enough, was full of leaves. We would happily return however as it was a very comfortable stay and it felt fresher and cleaner than many other places we saw by comparison in the more central area.

Lovely hotel

Location: The hotel is a short walk from the town of Cefalu. We explored La Rocca, the beatiful old town, beach and the cathedral with its piazza of cafes.
A lovely hotel just a short walk from the town. All of the staff were helpful and courteous at all times and really looked after us. Fantastic breakfasts of local produce, fantastic views and a really comfortable room

Hotel per vacanza d'ottobre

Posted Nov 4, 2014
