Excellent location, but poor breakfast optionPosted Jun 10, 2014 on Hotels.com
Great location in downtown Cefalu. 10 minutes to the beach, 2 minutes to downtown restaurants and Cathedral, and 20 minutes from harbor. Room service every day, though not extremely thorough. Unfortunately, their is no longer a restaurant "attached" to the hotel. Their "breakfast" option is buying a coupon to a nearby cafe for 5 euros to get 1 croissant and 1 expresso… not really a breakfast. The nearby bakery is a much better option.

Great location, good hotelPosted Jun 10, 2014
Pros: as above.
Location: Historic old town, five minutes from staggering views of coast and beautiful beach. Gorgeous little town, lots of nice restaurants and bars.
Very close to beach in centre of historic old town, this hotel exceeded my expectations. On the principle that you get what you pay for it's small, no fantastic views except on the roof but very clean, pleasant, comfortable in a simple basic way. Our bathroom and shower were very small but we got a double bed and a single for two. The only pain is that they don't serve breakfast. Otherwise recommended.

great location, noisy room, very, very hard bedPosted Jun 7, 2014 on Hotels.com
A great spot with friendly staff with a superb terrace.Unfortunateley this was spoilt by noisy door mechanisms (which when other residents took early flights meant we were woken up), and a very hard bed

Great location....terrible parking.Posted May 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
Location was very good and you central to anything you'd want to visit in Cefalu. However the flip side of this is parking. It would be very difficult to drive to the hotel's street as it is in a maze of narrow streets. We parked some distance away in a quite large parking field near the main beach. 5 euros for 12 hrs in May. I didn't feel comfortable with leaving the car in such a vulnerable place The hotel offers garage parking at a price but I wouldn't want to attempt getting to it in hire car. Pretty much all the cars there show scrapes. Interesting town to wander round but if you have a car give it a miss.

Nice town tiny overpriced hotelPosted Apr 21, 2014
Located in the center of the old part of town on a very narrow limited access street. No parking No breakfast and a tiny crowded room. The bed was old and sagged. No facilities. The price was way too high for the off season I would never stay here again - the hotel charged an exorbitant fee for our vehicle and a very long walk with luggage. Cefalu was a spectacular town but there were many nicer more reasonably priced accommodations.

Nice hotel, but wifi did not workPosted Sep 18, 2013
Pros: good location
Cons: good and fast internet connection
Could not connect to wifi internet from the room. Signal was too weak. Alternative was to use internet near reception.
Guest ControlPosted Jul 8, 2013
The Hotel is located in the heart of the tourist district with great access to everything. Rooms are clean and well appointed. The one problem we had was that guests were smoking in their non-smoking rooms and the hotel staff could not control it. If you have a problem with sleeping while the smell of smoke is filtering into your room, don't stay there. Also, they offer a 5 euro voucher for breakfast in the main piazza. Skip it and go to the bar on the corner...much better value.

good valuePosted Jul 5, 2013
Pros: Location, value
Cons: no breakfast, staff
Location: centre of town
Hotel in great location, and generally good condition. Bit limited because it has no breakfast Also quite noisy because of street and other guests - noise echoes badly up spiral staircase from reception and street Overall good value - staff could be more friendly and helpful

A so so hotelPosted Jun 27, 2013
It's a ok hotel and a bit commercial. Most members of staff were not very helpful, although they were always smiling.

Spacious, wonderful locationPosted Jun 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
Fabulous access to the beach at the end of the street! Dive off the port, or relax on the sand without the larger crowds further along the shore (rocks separate you from the rental lounges and beach bars, families with small children may also appreciate the near non-existent tide here). Cathedral nearby, too. Single room was very large, lots of quality furniture storage, with a wide wheelchair -accessible bathroom (despite the room itself being 5 steps down from the hotel lift). Only street noise was at 6 a.m., and lasted only 10 minutes. A/C defaulted to 18C, but certainly wasn't that cool--just kept the room comfortable. Negatives: room was slightly dim, beds a little short, and only one power outlet that I could find.
