3 star hotel 3 star qualityPosted Jun 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
Stayed 2 nights here on a tour of Sicily. My partner couldn't go out in her high heels of an evening because the hill up to the hotel is so steep, disaster!! Seriously though the hotel staff are very helpful. The pool and bar area are good. There is a well equipped fitness room, if the walk up to the hotel isn't enough! The room was a bit tired and lacking storage, but it was clean with good air con. The town itself is well worth a visit, make sure you visit the old town and monastery. La rocca also worth walking up to for an outstanding view of Cefalu.

terrible hotelPosted Jul 15, 2013
Pros: location is not as central as others have suggested
Cons: we did not find anything positive about the hotel
Location: not good- an extremely bad road near the hospital with ambulances constantly passing making lots of noise- for a hotel this is not good. a steep hill
the reception staff were appallingily rude, the hotel was very unclean, there is no soundproof walls so we got no sleep and the breakfast was terrible with very rude staff also- the hotel is a disgrace and i have also written this in a more detailed review on Tripadviser, i would suggest this hotel not be reccommended to anybody.

Lovely resort to relax in. Hotel about 20 mins walk from centre, up hill on way back. Staff friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel about 600 meters from the beach. A bit of a climb back up. Lovely views, really nice pool. Lousy coffee (nescafe) with breakfast. Luckily they sell the good stuff at the bar. Extremely nice, helpful staff.

nice hotel but don't forget your hiking boots! although only a 10-15 min walk from centre of town it was all up hill.

good hotel but not convenient locationPosted Sep 6, 2010 on Hotels.com
overall positive review based on hotel conditions and services; the following drawbacks are remotely located from the city center and hotel does not have wifi in the rooms; swimming pool/fitness is a plus;

Very nice and welcomingPosted Aug 17, 2010 on Hotels.com
This hotel was nice, clean and welcoming. It was quite basic and new (no rustic feel) but pool area nice and breakfast good. Air con was ok but not greatest. Only thing was it was at the top of a big hill, which took some work climbing to the top! So if have elderly/disabled then best stay soemwhere else or make sure you have a car. However it is within walking distance of beach (bout 5-10mins) and bars and restaurants(bout 10mins) so nice location.
