Safe, Central budget hotel
Lovely old rooms, bit run down,close to Palermo Centrale station, very friendly staff.Breakfast brought to the room, generous quantities of food including hot toasted cheese sandwiches!

Central location, and breakfast in the room, but instead in our en suite, we didn`t had toilet and shower, and that was a disappointed, as these facilities were at the end of corridor.

Can't beat the price
For a single woman traveling alone in Palermo for the first time I felt safe at this hotel. For the budget I had Hotel Italia delivered.

The noisiest room we have ever tried to sleep in.
The hotel is on the fourth floor so the small lift is esential. The groundloor access is dingy and rather intimidating at night. A good location close to main sites and on the Via Roma. The disadvantages of this are the traffic noise and difficulties of parking. Spacious and well presented room with two balconies overlooking the city, but dreadfully noisy. When I asked for a quieter room I was told this was impossible and I should go to a pharmacy to buy ear plugs. The staff insisted on keeping a lobby window adjoining our room open all nigt which only added to the general din. We were told to park in the side street next to the hotel. We did so and the car radio was stolen overnight. Breakfast was a roll and coffee served in the room with little grace. So out of character for bed and breakfast places we stayed in Sicily.

The hotel is pretty bare-bones and our room had not been updated in awhile. However, it was a great location for catching a train in the morning. I wouldn't recommend staying here long term. Having breakfast delivered the room and the large shower with good water pressure were nice. However, our room was near apartments and smoke drifted in our open window. It was also a bit loud from people talking in adjacent buildings or outside, but not too loud that we couldn't sleep.

Quirky Hotel in great location
The Italia is situated only 5 minutes walk from where the airport bus drops you in Palermo so is an ideal location. The neighbourhood also is very pleasant with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel is quite small and quirky but its clean and quiet and the staff are very helpful. Breakfast in bed was a bonus! Recommended.

Do not go to Palermo for more than 1 day
small room with really old bed, after 30h of traveling this day I wanted to go to sleep and relax, but it was impossible in this hotel. noise from the street, uncomfortable bed, couldn't sleep whole night. the person at the reception desk didn't care about guests in rooms, because was noisy as well! :/, poor breakfast. next day when I asked if I can change a room, staff member couldn't speak or even understand English at all!!!

Basic hotel, but clean and with very low rates and a good location convenient for both the train station and centre. Free wifi. (Non-inspiring) breakfast served in room. Very friendly and helpful staff.

i found the main reception work pleasant helpful but found the female worker unhelpful when i wanted to show my friends my room she told them they couldnt showed them the room that was for show. the food was okay but more you find at medium rate b and b not a hotel. wifi worked but had to be told the code they gave me only worked in the seating area not the one in the rooms. the room was okay clean and sleepable. the windows wouldnt close as the original shutters wernt repaired coorectly, the bed made to much noise and the room was small. i chose the room because of the location as it close to my friends there are far nicer and cheaper hotels around palermo so look in if worse come to worse the location is good the rooms are clean and they have wifi if thats all you want.

Hotel Italia is ok
Totally fine for one night in Palermo since it's very central. But the hotel stay was not the best since the room was really old and didn't have a homey touch. A + for good air condition

Das Hotel liegt nur 5 Gehminuten vom Bahnhof entfernt auch der Flughafen bus hält dort.Das Hotel liegt am 4.Stock.die Zimmer sind eher klein und die zur Hauptstraße laut.Wlan eher schwach. Frühstück wird aufs Zimmet zur gewünschten Zeit aufs Zimmer serviert. Für den Preis in Ordnung.

天井が高く、バルコニー付きの部屋で、クラッシックな雰囲気を味わうにはいい。WIFIも問題なく、液晶テレビも設置されている。 窓をきっちり閉めても、大通りに面しているので、多少うるさいが、駅まで歩いて5分と移動には便利。。

Gute Lage im Zentrum der Stadt. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Freundliche hilfsbereite Empfangsdame. Luxus/großer Komfort ist nicht zu erwarten, trotzdem aber empfehlenswert.

중앙역에서 완전 가까워서 팔레르모 주변으로 여행갔다오면 가까워서 좋아요. 하지만 via roma 거리로 창문이 나 있는 방은 엄청나게 시끄러워서 잠자기 힘들어요. 다른 방 중에 조용한 곳도 있는 것 같으니 조용한 방 달라고 꼭 요청해보세요. 젊은 주인 아저씨 엄청 친절하고 좋은 정보 많이 줘서 좋습니다.

Å hostel i hjertet av palermo. 5 min gange fra buss og togstasjon, 10-15 min gange til sentrum. Standarden er ikke god. Vi hadde et stort rom, men senga var steinhard og aircondition fungerte ikke. Badet kunne vært renere, samme med rommet. Men greit nok for å bo i to netter. Bilder og beskrivelse av hostelet på expedia var misvisende, vil si at standarden var mye dårligere enn beskrevet. Resepsjonistene på hotellet var veldig hyggelige og hjelpsomme.

bon petit hotel pour visiter à pied Palerme
Hotel au 4eme etage d'un immeuble. Ascenseur vétuste mais sans pb.accueil chaleureux. Petit dej dans la chambre avec choix du menu la veille. Bien placé dans Palerme pour les visites, mais bruyant. Parking dans une petite rue avoisinante gratuit. Au total très bon rapport qualité/prix.

Nous avons passé une nuit dans cet hotel, bien situé, proche des gares ferrées et routières et des restaurants, donc assez central. Bon rapport qualité prix. Clime silencieuse. La chambre un peu vieillotte et le petit déjeuné trop basique! Pas de pain pas de beurre juste un café et un croissant industriel... Hotel suffisant pour une nuit ou deux .

Stay there 3 nights, very convenient come from train station within 5 minutes. Room is big enough, provide what you needed. Breakfast sent to your room every morning, Is not luxury but make you stomach full, I feel enough for me. Reception is helpful, even though her English is not well. Highly recommend.

Bra beliggenhet nær togstasjonen og gangavstand til sentrum. Rimelig og greit for en overnatting, men ikke for flere dager. Hotellrommet var stort sett rent, men bar preg av å være gammelt. Badet hadde fuktskader i taket. Sengen var hard og kaffen ble servert i skitten kopp. Resepsjonisten snakket ikke engelsk.

El hotel está de miedo. Mas que un hotel parece un albergue. Las instalaciones son demasiado básicas. El mobiliario de las habitaciones deja mucho que desear. El desayuno te lo tienen que llevar a tu habitación porque el hotel ni siquiera cuenta con área de comedor. El acceso al hotel está de miedo mediante un elevador pequeño y demasiado viejo. De plano cuando llegamos al hotel estábamos pensando perder lo que habíamos pagado por la habitación e irnos a otro hotel.

Ottima posizione per chi arriva in città a piedi. Vicino alla stazione, ma anche non lontano dalle cose che non si possono perdere da un punto di vista turistico. Albergo al quarto piano con ascensore di palazzo storico. Necessiterebbe di una piccola ristrutturazione interna, ma per il soggiorno di una notte va più che bene. Carina l'idea di una colazione in camera. A gestione familiare.

Hotel Italia Palermo (Italia)
"Hotel Italia" is what was called a "pensione" ie a flat for instance, breakfast is served in your room just because there is no dining room. Centrally located it's convenient and affordable but do not expect more.

Mycket tillmötesgående personal och vänligt mottagande. Bra läge för egna utflykter till fots med många sevärdheter i närheten. Rent och fräscht i rum och badrum. Eftersom detta ligger i centrala Palermo får man räkna med att höra trafiken, men inte så att det störde vår nattsömn. Tv och aircondition. Perfekt läge med 5 min gångväg till flygbussarna som går till Palermos flygplats varje ½-timme.
