Great base for sightseeingPosted Aug 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
The Hotel is in a nice location and is a good base for sightseeing The swimming pool is clean and well managed and is a lovely amenity to cool off from the August sunshine. The staff were very helpful and even found us another room when we checked in (there was a leak in our original room) The breakfast buffet was also lovely with a good selection of food Thanks to all your team

Room has modern decor, but finish quality is bad and material used is cheap. shower and sink leaking at the egdes. Toilet seat is higher than normal, strange and uncomfortable. What a weird thing to do to refurbish the swimming pool during the summer period?! Dont be fool by the pic, no swimming pool right now.

Nice Hotel for Business TripPosted Jun 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel is undergoing a revamp and as such the swimming pool was closed. My room appeared to be in an older part of the hotel even, but was still clean and comfortable

Great hotel to visit PalermoPosted Sep 27, 2012
The location is really convenient - close to the train station and a shuttle bus stop to the airport. The only disadvantage is a long distance to the beach.

Sad and Tired hotel in good locationPosted Sep 19, 2012
Pros: Breakfast was better than many complimentary buffets and had a wide range of selection.
Cons: Stained walls and carpet, very tired looking fittings.
Looked as though it had once been a nice 4 star hotel. but besides the reception and restaurant area it was looking distinctly tired, with stained carpets, broken balcony door locks and a lack of water between 11am and 7pm.... needs some considerable renovations to return it to a decent hotel.

The worst "hotel experience" in my lifePosted Sep 5, 2012
Location: Location OK but far from perfect...
That was the worst "hotel experience" in my life. Hotel is dirty, old, dated. I have no idea how they got 4 stars because for me it was just hostel standard. Decord and furniture from early 70, dump in the bathroom and the bath so disgusting that I was afraid to take a shower... Plus unfriendly staff with very poor English. The only good thing was breakfast - wery nice and tasty.

great find !Posted Aug 27, 2012
Really clean and lovey hotel, staff spoke english well and were very helpful. Its close to the Central Station about a 20 min walk from there, it has a pool ;) and its right on the beach front, you cant swim as its a harbour but you can walk along it and there is lots to do along the shore, lots of good resturants nearby and bars too, it was perfect for us as we stayed one night, spent loads of time by the pool and even got a late checkout which didnt cost that much at all.
Dirty HotelPosted Aug 27, 2012 on Hotels.com
Thank God it was only one night. The pool was filthy, breakfast was a fiasco...gettting whatever scraps we could, more of a feeding frenzy than breakfast. Hotel is in a state of semi-disrepair. Staff was pleasant. Hotel was difficult to find as the GPS coordinates don't match where the hotel is...go another 500 yards and you'll find it

Great location with a poolPosted Aug 14, 2012
Pros: pool area, location and size of room/bathroom
Cons: extortionate costs of hotel bar/minibar. Also a strike on one day resulted in no room service and most guests by the pool used the minibar for water
Location: close to centre with taxi service just outside.Very well located.
Recently refurbished room, excellent bathroom, spacious and with high pressure shower and bath option.Superb air conditioning and comfortable beds. This hotel is one of just a couple with a pool which is a fantastic option given the temperatures in August, however the hotel needs to review the number of sun beds and their quality as at last count there were just 16 which clearly does not serve the guest numbers sufficiently, some were broken Mini bar expensive, and hotel bar itself is pricey, €4 for a glass of lemonade from a multi pack bottle, and bottled water €3.Breakfast is good quality and value. Great location, my main gripe is that there is very little information regarding the city and staff not terribly forthcoming or friendly.
