Beautiful park like surroundingsPosted Jul 1, 2015
Pros: Not the normal run of the mill chain hotels.
Cons: Placing better directions to get to the hotel (reference off of Route 9W)
Location: The location is very near to Manhattan, about ten miles down the road.
We had a little difficulty finding the hotel. The navigator did not recognize the address on the confirmation. But, with that being said, we enjoyed our overnight stay very much.

Good, InexpesivePosted Jun 29, 2015
Location: Nyack, NY has many nice shops and restaurants.
This is a no-frills hotel and is not for everyone. It's in a beautiful area. The rooms remind me of college dorms. It was quiet and comfortable, and also a great bargain for that area.

visiting friendsPosted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: everything..especially the food
Cons: maybe a free shuttle bus ride to the Palisades Mall
Location: we were attending an anniversary party in Piermont so that's all we did was visit with friends
we were referred by a friend (J. Vogel) and we were so pleasantly surprised by the beautiful grounds that we hope we can make another trip back in the fall..It must be glorious colors in the Fall. I have told friends all about your beautiful resort so I know you will be seeing some of them soon.

Staff terrible!Posted Jun 27, 2015
Cons: STAFF AND EDUCATION OF THE AREA. CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Location: Nothing around this hotel! Located so far away from anything the shuttle should expand the area to shuttle customers.
Would only shuttle to CVS or Applebee's, where a mall was located and bus stop! Ask to be taken 1 mile from the mall and said NO! Staff said the restaurant would be open until 11. Tried to order from bar and was told cook gone already at 9:50. Staff said the shuttle ran until 10 PM. Called at 9:30 and was told they wouldn't come get us for us to get a taxi. Staff didn't help with information of the area. Ever time we ask we were told they weren't from that area and did't know. one driver said he was told not to take us to the place we wanted to go. He took us anyway after we acquired why and who told him that.

Improve on Customer Service & House Keeping !!Posted Jun 1, 2015
Pros: The architecture is amazing!!, the surrounding area and the walking path was great, food was good, room was cozy, nice weekend retreat.
Cons: More vegetarian options on the menu, Please upgrade your rooms and retrain the staff on cleanliness and customer service. Smile it doesn't hurt :)
The hotel is literally stuck in 1980's, it need's big time cosmetic upgrades i.e. room's need a desperate upgrade!! hallway is rotting away (I walked around and saw many places where the wood was rotting away), pool has huge rust stains on the bottom!!, changing rooms need major upgrades and the best of all how can I use a fully equipped Keurig without any mugs or coffee cups to drink in. Coming to House keeping the Staff was nice but I was really disappointed with some aspects of cleaning. I had planted black lint purposely in high traffic areas to see if only my beds are made. I left for the day and when I came back I was in shock a couple of tricks I had learned from the Hit TV Show Hotel Impossible was actually true!! The Room was not vacuumed nor dusted (which only takes 5 Mins max according to its size), Soap on a counter should always be in a wrapper and not open (it was open). It made me think, is it really worth paying that dollar amount if the service if like a red roof inn!! Front staff was ok not very smiling, it was as if their just there for the sake of being there! especially the night staff!! I was a late check in at a Marriott in Philadelphia at 12am the service I got was amazing at that time of the night. I'm not bashing this hotel its just a my observation that I made with photos to back myself up!! Over all its still a good place for a night convenient and the right price. I'd recommend it.

Beautiful landscapePosted Jun 1, 2015
Pros: The location and landscaping
Cons: A bit pricy but worth it!
Wonderful stay! Will definitely stay at Dolce again! Staff was nice, beautiful landscape. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful environment with lovely comfortable rooms, Dolce Palisades is the place to go!

AtmospherePosted May 31, 2015
If you're looking for a relaxing retreat not the hotel for you. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Great views from the room. Didn't realize the hotel was In the middle of a conference center. No decor, felt more like you were staying in a corporate office. Asked for extra towels, they do not have any extra towels available.

Fine hotelPosted May 26, 2015
Hotel room was average. The hotel itself is huge, which is a bit of a burden when you need to go to the front desk or get to your car. The staff overall were not very helpful - asked for silverware to my room which I never got, my keys kept becoming demagnetized - they told me later to keep it away from my phone and wouldn't bring a new key to my room. Also no late check out available.
