Pros: It was a nice place to stay at. I would stay there again.
Cons: nothing
Location: Alot of things were in walking distance. (beach/resturants/shopping
We had a great time. The Dover House was a nice and clean. The employee's were helpful and always had a smile on their face. The pool was always clean & peaceful.

Not a Hotel - this is a timeshare!

Posted Jan 24, 2014 on Hotels.com
Don't be fooled like we were - despite the fact that this "hotel" is on hotels.com, it is not a hotel - it is a timeshare. There are no amenities - they do not make the beds, change the sheets or towels, there is no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom, etc. In fact, you need to strip the beds and take out the garbage yourself at the end of your stay. Also, the listing says the bedroom has two beds but only has one king bed. And don't try to check in on a Sunday afternoon - the office is closed. The complimentary wi-fi was a joke - kept getting kicked off. This is a nice place in a great location across from the ocean close to Atlantic Avenue. But I do not think it should be listed on hotels.com since it is not a hotel!

Nice Place...

Posted Dec 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
Nice view, clean room, amazing location. Thin blankets and the "jetted tub" was not as large as I'd pictured it. (Not made for someone 6 ft.) Heated pool made up for it. Great time, great place. Condo style so bring shampoo.

Not a luxury condo

Posted Feb 1, 2012
Pros: The view and area
Cons: Very poorly renovated; noisy mornings; parking
Location: Optimal
It was definitely not a luxury condo, but a very old condo covered up with a poorly done paintjob and windows that someone could get hurt from. The confirmation mailings did not give the right phone numbers and when we were arriving late, we could not get anyone to return our calls...therefore panic started as we had just driven for 24 hours to get there. Luckly the security guard was readily available and helpful. The good side was definitely the view...right across the street from the beach with beautiful landscaping and a nice pool. The condo has the basic needs in the room. The back and front of the condo are very busy streets, therefore be prepared to wake up very early with the delivery trucks and local traffic. Another positive is it is walking distance to everything. The area has lots of great restaurants and entertainment. The beach is beautiful. Maybe once they upgrade again it will be nicer, but the charge was not appropriate for the condo.
