Fine place for a quick stay. Nothing fancy but the staff could not have been nicer. A swim at the pool at 6AM was nice and relaxing

Marriott Hotel did not honor reservations.

Posted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: Very good breakfast buffet which was provided complimentary.
Cons: Honor guanteed reservations!
Room with two double beds was ordered six weeks in advance of stay. After check-in and going in room we saw that room was a handicapped room with just a single bed. When the front desk was advised of this mistake, they said that the room given to us was the only one left. They did send up a portable bed for the night. This was all done at 1:45 am. The next day they did give us a room with two double beds for the remainder of stay.

Our stay was great. However, Expedia had sent me a $25 off coupon to be used at check in and the Marriott representative said he was unable to use it

The staff was very friendly, but the hotel was lacking and needed goods for their travelers ie shampoo, shaving cream, morning coffee, etc

Hotel Has Potential

Posted Mar 29, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: See comment above.
I was in town for a wedding. Management needs to work on cleaning the public space, especially the pool area. I stayed two nights and both nights, our small group gathered at the pool, and both nights we had to pick up a lot of trash around the seating area before we could relax. A random string of Christmas lights hangs from one of the palm trees. Also, the pit group furniture is in need of replacement. The cushions are very ratty looking. A few simple tweaks by management would greatly improve this property.

Didnt get what we had booked

Posted Mar 16, 2015
Pros: It was quiet despite a large wedding event going on. The rooms were adequately clean. Overall the staff was friendly.
Cons: If a double is the next size down from a King then the Hotel needs to update their bed sizes. Even for a single adult, a double is rather small.
Location: We were there for WEF in Wellington which is where spent most of our time. Unfortunately our experience was limited to there and the hotel.
We had booked a room with two beds. When we arrived we were told they had us down for a single King. They looked for other options but only had a room with a single bed and pull-out couch. We thought that would be fine because when booking we saw other room options that included a King bed with a pull out. My sister could take the smaller pull out and my girlfriend and I would sleep on the bed. When we got to our room, which was clearly a handicap room (very large, lots of space with railings and other handicap accommodations) the bed was very small! The bed could barely fit two people on it. I believe it was a double or twin size. It was also extremely soft and bouncy in a bad way. Maybe im spoiled but ive never slept on a bed smaller than a queen in a hotel before. Most come with a King or two queens/fulls or some combination with a pull-out couch. We also expected that since we had to have the pull out couch that the staff member would have made sure there were sheets and pillows for the pull out. When we got back that evening from an event we had to call and have someone bring them. In the end we had a few laughs about the bed but it wasn't what we had booked. My girlfriend and I both have bad backs, neither the bed or couch were ideal. We would have expected the staff to be a little more accommodating since they were not able to provide us with the room we had booked.
