Recreation

The oceanfront Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island has two outdoor pools. The lagoon pool features a waterslide, waterfall, and sloped entry. The infinity lap pool overlooks the Atlantic. Both have adjoining spa tubs.

Lounge chairs and umbrellas can be rented for use on the white-sand beach. Private poolside cabanas are also available for rent.

Use of the resort's 24-hour health club is complimentary.

MacArthur State Park, about 1.5 miles from the resort, features ranger-led and self-guided kayaking through a mixture of coastal and tropical hammock and mangrove forest. The park also offers nature trails, a beach, and bird-watching. Guided nighttime turtle walks are held in June and July.

Several championship golf courses are within 10 miles.

“Singer Island”

Great Hotel but a lot of construction in the area. Breakfast at the hotel was not anything special. Much nicer then the Breakers.

“Good Hotel”

Hotel employees were very helpful and polite. Mandatory valet parking was a nuisance and expensive. The beach is not good, very rough surf for 3 days and lots of seaweed. Don't go there for the beach. Pools were great. Kids loved the slide. Over all great accomodations and a very nice place to stay.

“Better Than Expected”

“"Wish I didn't have to leave"”

The hotel was beautiful and very comfortable. There were a few maintenance issues that we had with our doors but was still an overall pleasurable stay. The food service was wonderful as well. I would say however, that there needs to be a more kid friendly selection that is reasonably priced. Overall, I absolutely loved my stay and wished that I didn't have to leave.

“Nice property, beautiful beach”

We really enjoyed this hotel. The surrounding area isn't great (not a lot of nice stores for shopping, etc.) but that didn't really matter to us because we were in the area visiting family, and didn't really have much time to explore the area anyway. The beach is beautiful, and the pool area is pretty nice. We ate in the hotels' restaurant one night; there's a very limited selection for dinner, but what we had was excellent. We also found that the concierge was very helpful, and gave us a great recommendation for another restaurant nearby. My only complaints are the extra charges. It's a $20 per day charge for parking (PLUS TIP!!), and there's no option for self-parking. My feeling is that if it's required that you use their valet, the cost should be included in the room rate. Also, if you want to use a lounge chair on beach, it costs $10 PER HOUR. Again, if that charge is really necessary, it should be included in the room rate. Charges of these kind made me feel like we were being nickled and dimed. We both enjoyed our stay though, and will probably return.

“Loved it!”

The hotel was amazing. Best part was the pool and the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. Only complaint was with housekeeping but this did not take away from our fantastic honeymoon!!

“Convenient to Palm Beach and family/friends”

This hotel is richly appointed and comfortable for family stay, as has full apartment amenities and two bedrooms. Compactly hold a kids pool with slide and a mellower infinity pool, which we liked for break of atmosphere, and an ocean front restaurant, which was excellent if a bit pricey, and also a terrific spa. Construction on adjacent site created some noise distraction, but this location works for us personally given family and friends in area, and easy access to restaurants and shops in Palm Beach and Jupiter.

Palm Beach, Jupiter, Charles MacArthur preserve combined provide for fine restaurants, shopping and activities within close proximity to hotel

Family-friendly activities

MacArthur Nature Preserve, lovely, easy access peek into pre-developed Florida coast habitat, awesome kayaking in preserve, and nature trail, with beach front. Worth a visit to explore for several hours and worthy of supporting their efforts at preservation.
