the in room air conditioners are dated and loud. When I had to check out a day early i awas very surprised to learn that Ramada does not refund fees prepaid through Expedia.

Didn't realise the motel was 'pet friendly' and my room appeared to have been used as the doggy toilet. Stains on carpet and overwhelming smell of floral disinfectant should have tipped us off when we arrived but we were so tired after a long journey we just fell into bed. Manager thanked us for feedback in the morning but she said as my contract was with Expedia, there was nothing she could do personally and I should take it up with them - bizarre, but that's what I'll be doing when I return home. I'm also sending report to local environmental health folk in Palm Beach. Finally, the restaurant was more like a college refrectory with canteen food and very long wait. We waited for 45 minutes and then turned it away. We counted only eight other folk in the restaurant so heaven knows why the delay. Do yourselves a favour folks and give this place a miss. Mike S.

Katasha, a horrible excuse for a hotel employee wouldn't allow us to change rooms, even After expedia requested it! They put my 2 kids in a smoking room! We couldn't sleep! It was absolutely horrible! She said " I Katasha will not change/ nor assist Expedia to Accommodate or fix their mistake, you should have booked straight throught the hotel"...& this was done in from of 20+ customers! Absolutely horrible/disrespectful!!!

I travel all over and stay in a lot of hotels. This was by far the worst I've stayed in. It's deceiving because the outside looks like it would be a nice hotel. It's old and they still allow smoking in the rooms (vomit)! The room stunk, a strong musty odor that 3 bottles of febreze and lysol couldn't touch. The carpet was absolutely disgusting! Stained and nasty. I was so glad I had my flip flops so my feet didn't have to touch the floor. Plus I was charged a little extra for a room with a "balcony", what a joke. It's just big enough to stand on and there's absolutely no furniture to sit on, like a table and chairs, to eat or just chill, inside or outside of the room. Just a big vacant spot in the room, where a table should be. We had a problem with the remote not working our TV, so I called the front desk. This was around midnight. He sent a security guard up with a new one, which he just dropped off without even checking to see if it worked, it didn't! So I called back and told the man that it didn't work and he told me another one was on its way. An hour went by, no remote, so I called back thinking maybe he forgot. He laughed. Than asked me to see if the TV worked manually with the buttons on the TV itself. So I did and told him they worked, he commented that I could stop being lazy and get up to change the channel. I was livid!!! It doesn't matter who you complain to there, they don't care and won't do a thing about it. I will never stay in this hotel again! Terrible!

Cons: repair of some facilities.
Location: everything Palm Beach has to offer. Visit Finnish bakery in Lantana, (Palm Beach Bakery and Cafe) one block E of route 1 and Ocean Ave.
We felt lucky to find this economically priced hotel in a convenient location in Palm Beach area. Condition was old, but well-kept. Friendly staff, convenient laundry and restaurant and good pool to do laps in.

Pros: The staff was most helpful.
Cons: It needs to be painted in some areas and there was pieces of paper on the corridor floor that was stayed on that wasn't cleaned up
Location: There are several restaurants and shopping areas and the beach is not far away
I was a little disappointed in the hotel's conditions. Some of the paint on the wall was off and peeling. We were on the 6th floor and there was a distinct musty smell along the corridor and the ice machine didn't work. The staff and .housekeeping people were helpful in addressing my issues. But for a Ramada Inn I didn't feel it lived up to the standard I expected

Location: I was just staying overnight and leaving very early the next day so I did not pay attention to the surroundings.
My experience was not good. The hotel has an ambient, pervasive odor that reminds me of stale tobacco--usually from lack of deep and consistent cleaning. When I arrived there was just 1 person manning the front desk and there were quite a few people waiting for some time. I left my cell phone in New York, so I planned to call home using the phone in my room, however it did not work. Over an hour went by before it was "turned on", was the term used by the staff. The woman at the front desk did let me use a cell phone so I was finally able to call home. I asked for a taxi and the front desk called one which took some 45 mins. to arrive. I went to the restaurant, I was told it was closed--no alternatives were offered. The next morning I asked about breakfast, I was told that it wasn't continental. The whole thing was just very disappointing.

Cons: Cleaning the rooms and remove that bad smell
Hotel was dirty and bad smell in my room. Old lady that works in there was nice. They give me 3 rooms in the period of 15 minutes. One room was smoking room smells horrible. Then they change my room non smoking , i couldn't open the door and then they give me another room ,,,, the bed was fine , but the room smell bad. Carpet was very dirty . I will never stay there again.

Pros: Convenient to the highway
Rude, unhelpful staff unable or unwilling to correct problems. Hotel used by people allegedly doing less-than-legal things. Do not stay here. You have been warned.

Maid service failed 2 days of the 5 days I stayed there to get the room properly done
