“Florida's most charming retreat”

Sundy House is a unique and very charming hotel. It has the most gorgeous botanical garden I have ever seen in a small hotel and the natural pool is fantastic. The entire venue has a very romantic feel. Staff extremely nice and helpful. The beach is a 3 minutes drive with the complimentary shuttle provided by the hotel and is way more beautiful than any of the beaches surrounding Miami.

“Amazing!”

The gardens are better than most botanic gardens. The pools are unique. The breakfast is wonderful. Small but fantastic!

“Don't miss this unique Delray Beach experience”

The one-of-a-kind botanical gardens and natural pool combined with extremely helpful staff, a soothing atmosphere, comfortable room and close proximity to the Atlantic Avenue entertainment and dining district make this a venue that I will return to again and again.

“The Ultimate Romantic Getaway”

This is lovely, magical property. We stayed for a special occasion, and the room, the restaurant and the spectacular grounds exceeded every expectation. It was completely romantic from start to finish. Our room was decorated and furnished beautifully, with every amenity and comfort. Our candlelit dinner for two under the trees at a private table in the extensive tropical gardens surrounding the restaurant was a little slice of heaven, with delicious food served in a spectacular setting. And the hotel's freshwater pool, with its beautiful landscaping and pretty little fish, was like going on vacation to an exotic paradise. We cannot recommend Sundy House enough for people in search of a perfect escape from daily life.

“Loved the Sundy House”

Our family (2 adults 2 teen daughters) loved the Sundy House. The hotel is set in a lovely garden, and the pool is a delight. We did not have a car, it was quite easy to walk to restaurants and shops. This is a perfect hotel in Delray.

“What a fun place to visit!”

This hotel was unlike any lodging experience we've ever had! Meandering along curving garden paths to access the room, this hotel offers such a unique charm. The decorating within the apartments is certainly fun and a great value was had with a full suite at the price of a typical hotel room. We did not get to experience the pool, mostly due to crummy weather, but it looked like it would've been an enjoyable swim in the "naturalized pool" with fishes! The restaurant offered amazing dishes and the continental breakfast included a nice spread with the freshest of fruits. The staff were super friendly, and the happy hour was a blast including live music and an awesome bartending staff. We would definitely go back to the Sundy house on our next trip to the Delray Beach area!

“beautiful outside”

The convenience of the hotel was wonderful...a few blocks from the downtown. Tropical gardens were delightful. The only negative was the dark, small room on the first floor which had an outdoor 'balcony", The balcony was tragic..small, not suitable to sit on and the view was construction property next door. As expensive as the room was, we expected more. Weekends are filled with people at weddings and showers.......

“a great unexpected surprise!”

it was an unexpected lovely surprise. it was a gem in an oasis. the alternative was staying in a typical hotel chain and i gambled - what a win. would have stayed there in the past while visiting family - had we known. will be back.

“Not impressed”

Staff was rude and short, room was falling apart, location is perfect. The only staff that were helpful did not speak English. Will not be my first choice for our next vacation to Delray for New Year's.
