“Not a family place...or even quiet!”

Air conditioning never worked for the two days and nights we were there. Room next door was so loud on an hourly basis(all night long) we had to leave our TV on so we could try and sleep. While staff was informed of these things, they were neither friendly or responsive.

Area recommendations

Don't know. This was well-located to the interstate, but otherwise no advantages.

“Worn down, but convenient”

The location was conveniently off of I-95 - but the hotel was old and dirty. The continental breakfast offered very few choices. But for the price, the hotel is fine if you don't plan to spend any time in the room except to sleep.

“Great for the money”

This was one of the cheapest places in the area and it was great for the money. The room was fine, no problems at all. Area was quiet and we enjoyed our stay. Would definitely go back. The continental breakfast was just what we needed in the morning.

“Don't choose this one!”

We told the hotel we would arrive late but they must not have heard us. They gave away our non-smoking rooms. I think it took us at least 15 minutes for each of the 6 rooms we had to check in - they were very slow. The rooms smelled, had holes in tub and leaking faucets. Will not stay here again. Worst Super 8 ever stayed in.

“Good for a Super 8”

For the most part this was what you would expect in a Super 8. The room was clean and quiet but more functional than luxurious. There were no chairs in the room, only a rack for the suitcases. The clothes rack/hanger had been removed and not re-installed. The other downside was the sink and counter was lower than usual. Had this been advertised or marked as Handicapped accessible, I could understand but it wasn't. The toilet was closer to the ground as was the shower head. This did not make the room uninhabitable, but was a little surprising.

Couple of fast food places within walking distance but for the better restaurants you will need a car.

Other

Easy access to the Interstate without the traffic noise. Close enough to get to the airport quickly but far enough away to be a little cheaper.

“Basic Motel”

This is a good basic motel close to the expressway and points of interest. Lantana Beach is lovely and 2 miles away. Dune Deck Cafe and Lantana Nature Preserve on 400 E. Ocean Avenue are worth visiting if you enjoy natural beauty. Palm Beach is 12 miles north and absolutely beautiful.

“Very Good Stay at Super 8 Motel Lantana”

I was very pleased with my stay at the Super 8 Motel Lantana, FL - the management and staff were very nice and helpful, my room was comfortable and clean, maid service was great, and it was quiet there. It was also conveniently located to everywhere I needed to go. The price was good too, especially considering that I booked the room only a few days in advance. My flight home was delayed by weather for two days, but I had no problem extending my stay in the same room, for only a little extra in price (and if I had known to extend it directly through them, rather than through Expedia, it would have cost nothing extra - it would have been around the same price).

Area recommendations

The coastal strip, which is most easily accessible from this motel via Ocean Blvd. - the beaches are there, also nice driving views.
