This place used to be amazing.Posted Aug 20, 2014
Pros: Not one single thing this time.
Cons: Hotel in disrepair. Food is awful. Rooms are dirty. Rude and unfriendly staff.
I booked a room and had several other friends book rooms as well to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. This trip was ruined hy the Ace hotel staff from the moment we checked in. I was promised over the phone months prior that our rooms would be near our friends they were not. The staff was rude, pretentious and made it pretty obvious they didn't care that we were unhappy. Our room was filthy, the floors were sticky the robes were dirty chairs were broken and fabric was unraveling. The food and drinks were terrible and over priced. We had visited 3 times prior and this hotel is NOTHING like it use to be. I even called and emailed the owners of the Ace Hotel chain to tell them how awful our trip was and that the staff ruined what was supposed to be an amazing weekend. They acted like they cared at first and said that were going to look into the situation and never emailed or called me back like they said they would. I even sent a follow up email and never received a response. The Ace has stopped caring about its guests and is more concerned with being "cool" than taking care of people. You lost our business and you were our go to spot in Palm Springs. We spent thousands of dollars at your hotel every time and now you will never see another cent from me.

Cool hotel in Palm SpringsPosted Aug 20, 2014
Pros: The rooms are spotless, the pool is great, the food is spot on.
I stayed here in August for 3 nights with friends. It's an amazing hotel, really cool, young, clean and the staff can't do enough for you. The food is outstanding as well.

The ace hotel is a great , hip place in Palm Springs. Great space, great crowd, great vibe. Always look forward to my stay there . The property is very chill. Kings highway restaurant has some if the better food in Palm Springs .

Never again!Posted Jul 7, 2014
Room wasn't ready on time, AC unit leaked on my head, and help staff would just enter the room without even knocking... Not too mention the diner was horrible!!

The staff were accommodating and pleasant. Pool and side bar were amazing. Service was great and enjoyed my stay here. I would recommend this place for its simplicity.

Fun and hip hotel but dirty room with bugsPosted Jun 22, 2014
The ACE is a well designed, fun and hip hotel with a great pool scene and delicious menu. Great resort for groups and friends. Unfortunately my room had several large dead bugs on the ceiling and walls and also dozens of small ants in the bathroom. I had to kill a few other bugs during my stay and was defiantly itching in my sleep. Make sure you room is fully cleaned before you unpack at the ACE Palm Springs.

BEST Hotel Experience EverPosted Jun 10, 2014 on Hotels.com
I have been to many hotels in the past, and I've been to Palm Springs numerous times, but man, ACE HOTEL has been the BEST by far. When I say best, I mean the best. Every single staff member was friendly and extremely helpful, service was great, the young crowd was more than good eye candy and the rooms had the cutest/most vintage interior ever that gave a very cozy feeling. Oh, and every single dish we ordered was delicious--especially their coffee cake french toast for breakfast.. Mmm Yum... Im definitely going back:)

Fun vibe, great crowd, and lots of yum food!Posted Jun 9, 2014
The Ups: My husband and I came to the Ace for a quick one-night getaway from LA (Sun-Mon). We loved the pool scene. It was easy to find lounge chairs at the pool. The dj was great...dance-y music but not too crazy. Everyone was in good spirits. Service by the pool was friendly and attentive. All the food we ate (by the pool as well as in King's Hwy restaurant) was phenom. The Downs: Upon check-in we were given a key to a room that was occupied and we walked in on the guest in his bed! We promptly returned to the front desk and they solved the problem, no big deal. Also, it was not made clear that the $25 resort fee was a PER DAY charge as opposed to a one-time fee. Given the snafu at check-in, it would've been swell if they would have waived at least one day's worth of that fee, or at least offered some gesture of compensation, but that didn't happen. Did we have a great time at the Ace? Yes! Would we return and even tell our friends? Absolutely! I'm going to focus on the positive here, and all in all we're glad we came :)
