Great hotel and costumer service

Posted Jul 25, 2015
We stayed in the executive room and it was great! It has a fireplace and a jet tub! It was very comfy! Loved it! The only thing I could say if so... Is that they should teach better the on how to make the room serviced. The maid just left all our used towels in the floor and didn't pick them up or put anything in order plus she didn't clean the bath tub after ee had use it. The other thing was the pool, the water was cloudy so it didn't gave the impresion of clean water. But I certainly enjoyed being there and had a great time overall! 😄

Interesting older building in great condition!

Pros: Love the early California feel, the friendly staff, and the very comfortable and well furnished rooms!
Cons: We had a problem with the internet. The staff we not able to get their tech support guy over in time but they're working on it.
Location: It is within walking distance of all the downtown Palm Springs restaurants and attractions near the north end of the "strip".
This is a place with history, and there are reminders, mostly Hollywood related autographed pictures and posters. The Spanish-influenced early California feel is very appealing, with such a distinctive character. The rooms are very nicely updated and appointed, comfortable and with a nice centrally located pool. A spa is associated with the hotel, and although we didn't make use of it, we overheard nice comments. The location is perfect for us, near where we needed to be, but also within and easy walk of the downtown restaurants and attractions. We had a problem with the internet connection, which was hit and miss but apparently our room was the only one having the problem. The staff are working to fix it. This was our third stay and we will be back!

Old school charm but new world construction nearby

Posted Jul 22, 2015
Pros: 1940's charm and continental breakfast
Location: downtown restaurants and shops are two blocks away so nice location.
Great staff (Bob) and very nice facilities but high rise office construction across the street (beginning at 5:30 am) made it difficult to enjoy the room or facilities. Beware - Looks like this will go on for at least another 6 months.

Cons: Breakfast could be improved. Large screen TV in breakfast room was distracting and annoying. Do we really need TVs everywhere?
Pool was great on a hot day. It is a smaller hotel most suitable for couples or business travelers.

Walking distance great to shopping and restaurants

I wanted accommodations that didn't require a resort fee or parking fee. Found that and more at our boutique Andres hotel. Greeting with champagne is a nice touch of class.

Walking distance

I guess you get what you pay for, but I found the Andreas to be overpriced for a luxury Travelodge. The pool did not look inviting; waters looked a bit murky. No late check-out and if you are a late-sleeper, forget about having your linens changed. It's a very simple place; was expecting more luxury for the money.
