Pros: Service and relaxed environment. Good value and good food. Would recommend for a relaxed stay...
Cons: Let people know you provide a relaxing comfortable stay for those looking for good value...for a vacation. Amenities in the area would be helpful...
Location: Short drive to airport and easy access to No. 10 hwy....
Our Tennis group from across Canada had 6 of 8 players at the hotel. The service was great, 3.5 star hotel. The pool and hot tub pleasant, food very good, and service and relaxed environment will bring me back for another stay some time in the future. The hotel was good value, excellent service and no issues on our stay. The area isn't Indian Wells but you get what you pay for....relaxing, pleasant place to stay for 4 days... Thanks, Dean Wittig

Beautifully remodeled facilitiesPosted Feb 23, 2014
Pros: Quiet, sanctuary feel.
Cons: No shelf in shower to put soap, shampoo, etc.
Location: Short drive (maybe 20 minutes) down to Palm Springs for events.
The hotel has been completely updated with midcentury furniture. Heated mineral water in all the pools, and a firepit area at night. Stephanie, the bartender, was helpful in providing area info and friendly atmosphere. Snooker table in bar. Very relaxing. Great value. Would definitely stay again, and recommend it to others.

Could be a Nice Place.Posted Feb 23, 2014
Pros: Very nice, beautiful courtyard with well maintained pool and spas. Friendly staff, convenient location, quiet room with nice beds.
Cons: Plumbing, furniture, housekeeping, restaurant, door locks.
Location: Many golf courses, national parks, casinos, entertainment, fine dining.
This is an older hotel and has gone out of business and or changed hands several times over the years. The current proprietor has made a lot of nice renovations and improvements. They've apparently invested a great deal in the property. However it appears they ran out of funds before the project was completed. The door lock on our room was not secure. The striker plate in the door jam was hanging by one screw. The lock on the slider door to the balcony was improperly installed and would not lock. There was a small table on the balcony, but no chairs to sit on. We stayed for four nights and only got maid service on three. This, only after complaining several times. The cafe does not open for lunch and does not open til 8:00 for breakfast.

Bathroom blues, dinner boosPosted Feb 22, 2014
Upon arrival the exterior of this hotel is not encouraging though once inside the colorful lobby and nice pool and spa improve the mood. The room was brightly decorated(color seems to be a theme), the bed comfortable and the room clean but dimly lit. Updated bathrooms are attractive though the very low toilet with cheap flimsy seat was difficult to effectively flush. The toilet paper, cheapest of the cheap dissolved during use! Towels are not good quality and in short supply. We ate in the casual bar/restaurant on site. Service was very casual and after a considerable wait the food was not great. Floppy fries and an overdone grease burger gave us late night gastric gloom. The pools were nice and well maintained. The staff at the front desk were cheerful and accommodating.

Palm Springs areaPosted Feb 18, 2014
We really enjoyed this hotel. It is a very soothing place with a wonderful courtyard with a full swimming pool and 2 spas. Just what we needed! Palm Springs is close as well as Joshua Tree.

Cons: Ambience of restaurant was very poor, which detracted from the high quality of the food.

Great spotPosted Feb 11, 2014
Pros: Stylish, clean, friendly staff and 24 hour pool!
Cons: Clarify what "no occupants under 18" means.............
Location: Just north of I 10 and 10 minutes from Morongo Casino and Central Palm Springs.
I wanted a room at the nearby Morongo casino, but it was $150. I used the Expedia app and found two hotels with rooms under $70. I thought this was an adult themed location because the amenities list "no occupants under 18." My Expedia representative looked into it and did not see any adult theme information. When we arrived, there were kids in the pool, so that rule did not apply. The hotel is a few miles north of I-10 in Desert Hot Springs, and worth the 5 minute drive. Our lobby and room was very clean and stylish. I have no complaints. It is definitely a hidden gem!

Desert Hide-away. Great Value in the Desert.Posted Feb 10, 2014
Pros: Nice clean rooms and newly renovated. Hotel Staff provided exceptional service.
Location: This hotel is in a remote area, just off the freeway. There is down the road a McDonald's and a few restaurants and some stores.
I booked a party of 11 rooms. Everything went smoothly with everyone checking in. The staff was friendly and help with all of our needs. Great indoor Jacuzzi and outdoor pool and Jacuzzi. Nice areas to lounge in. Big party at the hotel after our event and the staff couldn't do enough to make us more comfortable. Rooms newly renovated and clean. This is our 2nd year in a row stay at Aqua Soeil. It is 15 - 20 minutes from downtown Palm Springs. It is not the Ritz but in is not a Best Western. NIce bar are in lobby.
