Over priced, not impressivePosted Aug 31, 2013
I had stayed at other similar resorts before, which was a smaller scaled spa with fewer rooms. I thought with the higher price and more rooms, this place should be better. We were extremely disappointed. Their website was beautiful and the description about the services were great and attractive. The view was good but just at the poolside. There was only 1 small pool that could hold 3 couples, the most. The pool floaters were limited, old, and deflated. If one float bed is in the pool, there will be no room for other people. All of these are outdoors. We asked for cold mineral water that supposed to supply all day long. The answer was just use the faucet tap water in the room. If you want ice, they will bring to your room. There are 2 Jacuzzi. Not impressive. The one in the room is much better. The breakfast was cereals, yogurt, bagel, and muffin. The only cool thing supplied in the common area were mush-mellow and chocolate for smurf at night by the fireplace. In the morning, when we asked for fresh towels, we were told they run out of clean towels. Had to wait for them to do laundry till afternoon. The TV channels were limited. No cable. Who cares, no one go to resort to watch TV, right? However, because the pool is so small, when there were 5 -6 people, we have no place to go but stay in the room. We were not planning on going to Palm Springs; we ended have to go.The water is OK. Not recommended. Will not go back!

Not for light sleepers!Posted Jul 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
Good hotel, great pools and spas, and the massage service was great! Downside, the rooms are in a small courtyard that faces the pool and spa and outdoor fireplace, so if you have people staying there who stay up late and party, you will hear everything! Also, there's outdoor lights all around the place that stay on, so the room is not dark. If you're sound or light sensitive, not for you!

Bella Monte Hotel and SpaPosted Mar 23, 2013
Once inside the hotel enclave a visitors experience was relaxing, quiet and very pleasant. This hotel is located in a residential neighbourhood that is somewhat run down, but the hotel is kept up very well. The hotel is lovely, the rooms are comfortable and the surroundings are peaceful with lovely gardens and nice chairs to sit on. View across the valley is spectacular. Tyler was an excellent ambassador/concierge. Ways to improve: Always wipe down the outside tables and sweep the patios daily. Be consistent with room cleaning services, specifically towels and shower/shampoo replacement and the dusting. The winds bring dust!

Lovely Spa HotelPosted Mar 4, 2013
Pros: Views from the hot tubs & swimming pool - stunning sun set
Location: Stunning Views of the mountains
lovely oasis in the middle of Hot Dessert Springs (which doesn't have much at all). 20 mins drive from Palm Springs where we ate. Great value for what we got - definitely recommend.

We knew nothing about the Palm Springs area. Do your research on the area before you choose this hotel. There are no good restaurants or shopping nearby.

Disappointed in servicePosted Feb 25, 2013
The exterior of the hotel was nice but the service and staff was horrible. I couldn't get anyone to answer the phone at the front desk. I wanted my room cleaned but one day they missed my room. The hotel only has 21 rooms. How does a maid miss a room???? The continental breakfast started at 8:30 which was 1 1/2 hour too late in my opinion. They only served cereal, yogurt and bagel for five days i was there. Never mixed it up. The snacks they claim to have during the day was just microwave popcorn. Nice surroundings but I would not go back there again.
