Good, reasonable place to stayPosted Feb 23, 2015
Everything was great, except for the toilet that kept refilling every few minutes. I asked that it be fixed and it never got done during our week there.

The room was small and clean. Location was good but the staff had a very bad attitude.

Conference AttendeePosted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: Location, clean well-maintained grounds.
Cons: The bathroom in our room (#337) appeared to be a work in progress.
Location: Shopping mall down the street. I understand that there are many activities to do in the area but we didn't have the time to explore much.
The Best Western Plus Palm Dessert Resort is just a few minutes down the road from the Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort & Spa, the location of our conference. The minor inconvenience of not staying at the conference location was well worth the savings we realized. With plenty of restaurants and stores nearby and breakfast included daily, we were very pleased with our accommodations.

Comfortable, good locationPosted Feb 22, 2015
Pros: Location, pool and complimentary made-to-order breakfast
We only stayed for 5 nights but enjoyed our visit here. Hotel is close to numerous restaurants and shopping, we had a rental car but were able to walk to eat out on occasion. The complimentary hot (if you prefer) breakfast is a very nice touch. Rooms are very clean, staff is friendly and helpful and grounds are well kept. I would not hesitate to return here and recommend to anyone.

Very nice hotel, great breakfast.Posted Feb 19, 2015
Location: Shop, golf.
We had a very nice room on the third floor overlooking the gardens and pool. Breakfast was great and not just your usual complementary fair. There were two cooks making eggs to order, bacon, sausage, home fries or pancakes. A very nice start to the day. Good location, lots of restaurants.

Time for some upgradesPosted Feb 12, 2015
Pros: Staff. Convenience to Indian Wells. Good restaurants nearby.
Cons: Laminate flooring and bathroom updating.
Location: Restaurants and shopping on El Paseo, both very close, could even walk if your up to it.
The rooms are dated and look like the paint is getting thick in certain areas. The toilet in my room had a slow leak and would refill every 2 hours; easily fixed but it looked like it had damaged the floor from past experiences: wood swelling and the door jambs had rusted or swelled and been painted over in those areas. The room is basic but it was very clean and had a fridge and Keurig coffee maker, which I appreciated. Breakfast is included and it's a decent made-to-order eggs and such. Staff was friendly. Overall I thought it should have been much newer for the price I paid, almost $500 for a king room.

I want my money back.Posted Feb 10, 2015
The bed was horrible, the noise was so unpleasant. Could sleep at all. Extremely disappointed in my stay. I mentioned it to the front desk. They said sorry sir you booked outside with Expedia.

Nice hotel close to many placesPosted Feb 10, 2015
We had a great experience. The room was immaculate and very roomy. We were ably to use the pool in the evening which was beautiful and clean. We also experienced the free breakfast in the morning which was great. Overall a great experience and I would stay here again.

Good hotel close to shopping and restaurantsPosted Feb 9, 2015
Pros: Central location, clean, heated pool and a hot tub. The fresh cooked breakfast (no extra charge) made our mornings quite easy.
Location: In the heart of Palm Desert. Easy access to highway 74 for a trip to Idylwild. Palm Canyon Drive was a 30 minute drive and Josha Tree about 1 hour.
We stayed in the king suite for 1 week and found the extra room well worth the money. It was great to have our own outdoor patio with a small table and 2 chairs. I liked the area but found it a little far from Palm Canyon Drive (downtown palm springs), about a 30 minute drive. You definitely need a car to stay here.
