"BEAUTIFUL HOTEL - RESORT"
My husband, my teenage daughter, and I spent three nights at this beautiful hotel/resort which is located in La Quinta, California; not too far from Palm Desert. The first day, when we arrived, the AC was not working in our suite and the temperature outside was 120 degrees. My husband didn't want to move to a different suite because he had already unpacked his luggage so the hotel staff accommodated us in a different room just to sleep the first night. The day after, we went back to our suite and the AC was working great. There was a small kitchen, a living-room with a sofa bed, a huge flat screen tv and in the bedroom, there was a very comfortable king size bed. The suite was very clean. Every morning, the hotel served a delicious breakfast: scramble eggs, omelets, potato tarts, sausages, biscuits with gravy, bagels, toast with jam, muffins, cereal, bananas, apples, tea, coffee, milk, etc.
From Monday to Thursday, the hotel also served a complimentary dinner; we had chicken, salad, bread, fruit and drinks. The only complain we have is the fact that the hotel serves alcohol without limitations which led to quite a few guests drunk, loud, and belligerent. They were from 35 to 50 years of age and also some couples which were from 60-80 years of age. They were bringing glasses of alcohol in the pool area where there were many children. The hotel should change the policy about the alcohol served as complimentary or should reduce the quantity of alcohol given per person.
