Ok Motel with no ammenitiesPosted May 27, 2015
Pros: bed was ok. Room was not great.
Cons: price was too high for what this place is.
Location: Everything is a short car ride away. Not really anything walking distance.
This Motel is far from town definitely not downtown as stated or within walking distance. THERE IS NO BAR OR RESTAURANT OPEN AT THE MOTEL.

Always a fun time at this hotel. Lots of kids this year so that was a bummer for my fiancé and I.

Online articles vs reality....Posted May 26, 2015
The rooms were not remotely tiki looking The only thing tiki was the Big Lots mirror frames. The pool was small and cloudy.. probably because of the high volume of kids. Also the floors in the rooms were stained.

just okPosted May 21, 2015
Cons: TV is old.
room had musty smell and under the sink it was soaking wet, seeping towards the bathroom. Not good for walking in your sock feet. Over all not a bad place, but if they charge what you have posted as a regular rate...forget it. I would probably not stay there again.

Damage deposit required!Posted May 15, 2015
Hotel was ok but not walkable distance to the uptown design district. $100 hold for damages on my credit card was offensive. Won't stay there again.

For the price, it can't be beatPosted May 11, 2015
The staff is so friendly and accommodating. The pool and spa are spacious and clean. The rooms definitely need upgrading, which is currently happening. They are also putting in a bar and restaurant. This place is going to be one of the better hotels in PS once their upgrades are complete.

2 nightsPosted May 7, 2015
My room was okay. I was on the second floor, and the bottom of the blinds seemed to be warped from some water damage. This meant that the blinds wouldn't shut, and a good amount of light came in the room at night. My shower was tempermental but I eventually figured it out. The sink wouldn't provide cold water. Fortunately the room had a fridge so I filled up some glasses of water, put them in the fridge, and I had cold water to drink in the morning. I wasn't expecting the Ritz. I picked this place because I love quirky theme motels. This one was okay, and the price was really good. The tissue dispenser was a hoot!

Affordable place for single mom and kidsPosted May 4, 2015
Stayed for 5 days due to a conference. Had three kids with me. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was timely and efficient. Had a wonderful view of the mountains and pool. Didn't see other kids until later in our stay. The hotel is old but it's got appeal. The kids liked the Tiki torches and Polynesian touches throughout the hotel.
