“Best”

This was my 2nd visit - best hotel in Palm Springs hands down. No screaming kids, great food, comfiest lounge chairs and cabanas, and the rooms are stocked with the BEST products! Affordable luxury with a Morrocan flair!

“Well worth a try.”

This place is gorgeous. It is decorated in Spanish/Morrocan style and is so boutique. There is plenty of seating around the pool and the restaurant is located poolside. Far nicer than some of the bigger hotels. I am not sure it is kid friendly as there were a few children having fun in the pool and getting dirty looks from the childless people. My only complaint is allowing dogs to be poolside. There were two huge dobermans sitting on the only shaded lounges poolside and they were walking around off leash at night and we felt unsafe when they came up to us.

Perfect if you're looking for a small, intimate hotel with a great healthy restaurant and walking distance to Downtown.

“Vintage Palm Springs”

Very centrally located in Palm Springs. You can walk to many activities. Once on the beautiful grounds of the hotel, you feel relaxed and secluded. Fun pool and bar area with rooms and cabanas surrounding the pool. The hotel restaurant, The Purple Palm, is excellent. Knowing the history of the resort makes the stay even more fun.

“Romantic couples get away.”

Lovely boutique hotel. A great couples get away. Room was very comfortable and quiet. Staff were great and grounds were well kept and plenty of outside places to sit. We loved our stay even though it was 111 outside.

“Mahvelous Dahling!”

Decided to take a little "me" time and spend 3 nights in Palm Springs. I have a 4 year old and I'm a SAHM. I orginally booked a room at the Parker, but after reading the reviews I didn't think it would be so relaxing but more of a party hotel. I arrived at the CP and the moment I stepped into the lobby I knew it was the right decision. I don't want to get into a whole story here so I will just say that if you're looking to "chill" this is the place. Perfect pool, staff was amazing, bartender knew exactly what I needed, the spa was perfect, and housekeeping never once disturbed me. Massage and facial was the highlight of my stay. Thank you Colony Palms!!! I will be back.

“Desert romance”

A true oasis. Old Hollywood glamor without the glitz. We were so comfortable here. The room was lovely, but not extravagant. The Purple Palm restaurant was excellent. The crowd was smart, but low key. A great hideaway.

“Great romantic getaway”

We had the most wonderful getaway! The grounds were beautiful, and very romantic. The food in the restaurant was delicious. The massage I had in the spa was heavenly. We cannot wait to go back!

“Relaxing stay - didn't want to leave”

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The pool is very relaxing, although during busy seasons, you need to get there early in the morning to get a spot, otherwise, you will be out of luck. Only two very minor complaints....the a/c in the room had limits on the temperature which was warmer than I typically sleep with, but not by much. Also, the floor in the bathroom was a bit sticky and was not cleaned during our stay. The spa is wonderful and very accomodating. I recommend visting the spa during your stay, then having lunch or dinner at the restaurant by the pool. Very luxurious without being overpriced.

“Love it and loooove the staff! will be back!”

This little gem is fabulous! Would move in if I could. The staff was so amazing and helpful. The GM is the epitome of hospitality. The restaurant is awesome and so was the food and drinks (gotta have the mojito! wicked good) I have such great memories of old Palm Springs and have not been downtown P.S. for many years. We will be back in the fall! Thanks David and Co.! You guys are FAB!
