Can't wait to go backPosted Mar 22, 2014
Pros: The adult pool only and our seemingly private jacuzzi. Our own patio was nice two for our morning coffee, and evening happy hour. Gated community too.
Cons: The main pool water was very cold. However, the adult pool water near the club house was PERFECT!
Location: The Beer Hunter sports bar about a half mile south on Washington was fantastic! Just like home, and was able to watch the Hawks loose to Tenn. Ugh!!!
We're from Iowa so, we are not hard to please. Getting out from under Iowa's winter of 2013 - 14 and staying at the Desert Breeze in Palm Desert was just the answer! First time for a Condo, had been very loyal to the Embassy Suites over the years. Found the condo living experience much more private, with the pool's and the jacuzzi's all centrally located. The small 550 foot Studio was just the right size for two. We didn't care so much since we spent all of out time outside. Average temp was 87 degrees! Back home in Iowa was 38. No brainier, right? Plenty of gas grills through out the complex of 10 buildings housing 10 units each. Gas grills all are in great shape and always cleaned before the next day, so plan on grilling. A Walmart and Ralph's are both very close by. If you are like us, staying at hotel chains, try out the Desert Breeze for the condo experience. My wife and I were very pleased with the complex and plan on returning next year for spring break.

lovelyPosted Mar 1, 2014
We had a studio and it was a good size for us. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and even had a dishwasher. Laundry was convenient. The resort was beautifully landscaped with a number of pools, spas, tennis courts, clubhouse. We found the whole place a bit too quiet, especially after dark, which arrives at 5:00.

Easy commute to Senior GamesPosted Feb 13, 2014
Pros: Location, gated (safe).
Cons: It was quite warm when we were there (FEB.) Only a down comforter and a sheet on the bed. Comforter too hot--only a sheet too cold. A light blanket
Location: The Macullen Theatre was the best. We saw a tribute to Andrew Lloyd Webber that was excellent. We plan to attend at least one program every year.
The room was comfortable, clean and ready when we arrived. It had everything we needed to make our trip enjoyable. We were there for the Senior Games (my husband is a pickleball player). The commute was easy and we plan to stay there again for next year's games.

pleasantly surprisedPosted Feb 6, 2014
Pros: It is beautifully maintained and pleasing to the eye. The palm trees, flowers, the fountain and lake are very soothing.
Cons: No improvement needed.
Location: Close to everything in Palm Desert, the River area and El Paseo.
A very nice experience. Desert Breezes has everything you need to enjoy your vacation. The cooking facilities are a plus for being able to fix snacks or meals on your own.

Not worth the money!Posted Feb 4, 2014
Cons: The staff could be more willing to help, and interested in the guests. Basic items such as toilet paper and coffee/tea should be replenished.
To start, this is NOT a hotel. Perhaps if this had been made clear my expectations would have been different. My classification would be a self catering apartment, that is how it is run. The facilities are nice enough, well kept gardens, pool, jacuzzi and the decor in the room was as in the pictures, so as expected. That however, is all that was positive about this place unfortunately. Upon arrival, I received the usual 2 x coffee, creamers, tea, sugars etc. I had an event in town which required me to stay here for 2 weeks. These simple amenities were not replenished, not even once during my two week stay. I have stayed in much cheaper places before which provided me with daily coffee. It doesn't end there, they don't even give you toilet paper! There were 2 of us staying in the room and once the toilet paper provided was used, that was it! I paid an additional amount for internet, essential for me to work. After the first day, the internet stopped working. When I called, the receptionist was not helpful, did not apologize, but simply gave me a number to call. I had to sit holding forever and eventually got the issue sorted out. The bathroom fan made a loud, aweful screeching sound whenever the light was turned on to use the bathroom. Again, the receptionist made me feel like my calling to have a look at it was an annoyance. I think someone did come, but the next day it was screeching again. The room was only cleaned once during the full 2 week stay.

We came for a horse show.Posted Feb 3, 2014
Exactly what I wanted. Quiet facility to relax after long days at the show. The pool was right out the back patio and the room had a more than adequate kitchenette. Located just a few miles from fun restaurants. Well worth it for us.
