Desert Hot Springs Spa is a great place to stay. The pools are wonderful and the staff is very friendly. The Sunshine Cafe has very reasonable prices and the food is wonderful!

“Total Relaxation”

I relaxed and soaked in over eight different hot mineral bathes, hot coed sauna and near olympic size swimming pool. At night I enjoyed star gazing while sitting in the hot pools with the desert breezes. I will defintely come back here soon.

“Desert Hot Springs”

Overall it was a great time, I wish I had more time to spend but it was extremely hot. The staff were friendly and very professional. John was outstanding at the front desk. As a first timer to palm springs I had many questions, they were all answered with a smile. The only complaint I have to offer is that as a non-smoker, I didn't appreciate the fact that people were allowed to smoke around the pool area...it didn't leave us much room for escape.

“Funky, cheap and fun....”

No, I wouldnt tend to choose this ppty for a romantic weekend with my girlfriendpartner...but for just plain fun, or particularly for a work trip, this ppty is hard to beat. First, the price is cheap, just plain cheap. There are 8 different aquifer fed pools of varying temperatures, and, best of all for those of us who are gone on business most or all day, the pools can be used 24 hours a day. I hate pptys w/pools that close early--useless for those on business. The architecture is vaguely mid- century modern, and the rooms have big balconies or patios. The rooms' climate system seems new and very efficient. There is a computer off the lobby that is actually free for guests--amazing how many pptys dont even have a pay computer. Note that the pool area can be crowded, as the ppty does allow day use of the pools....but this brings in a refreshingly wide range of guests, not just one age group. Personally, I apprec'd the beautiful young women who were part of the pool crowd, but that's me. Only caveat is that it can be a bit noisy @ night if partyers are staying there, but hopefly the climate control fan will drown them out. OH--GREAT staff service. I reported the guest computer dead, and the IT Manager himself had it fixed and back up within a couple hours. Wow, I havent been able to get that kind of sterling service at some 4star hotels. Friendly staff too. Last thought...dont be discouraged by the lobby--it's dumpy but the rooms are better

“Relaxing, affordable accommodations”

I had a relaxing stay in a clean, simple, reasonably-priced room with an impressive view of snow-covered Mt San Jacinto. Staff was efficient and courteous, and many spa services and facilities were available.
