Our favorite weekend escape!Posted Nov 4, 2013
We look forward to every opportunity we have to visit the Desert Sun Resort. It is hands down the best clothing free destination in Southern California and likely the USA. Rooms are clean and the grounds immaculate. The owners are constantly upgrading the property and making improvements to the facility for their guests enjoyment. We highly recommend a visit!

Great Place to Meet and Make FriendsPosted Sep 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
There are not many hotels where you can swim, lay in the sun, pool volly ball all naked. Get a massage, this is the place. Go to your room for a little romance or just read a book on a lawn, or on a covered porch, . . . NAKED the way my wife and I like it. Meet you there next month or the next

Nice, a few extras would be nice, for the pricePosted Jul 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
Cleaning staff was very efficient, pools were good. It would have been nice to have music later than 8:00. One couple tried to eat their meal they fixed at one of the tables and they were told if they did not buy something from the restaurant(that is ONLY open on Friday, Saturday). This is not a cheap place. I would never stay here during the week, you seem to be more of an inconvience, they will not be upfront and say you are one of 4 couples.

2 nights in july.overall pleasent experience.Posted Jul 28, 2013
Pros: location ,amenities,friendly staff
Cons: hotel beds and pillow.
Location: exellent location less than half mile from down town palm spring.
we stayed 2 nights in july of 2013. on the plus side resort location , resort amenities , friendly staff. on the negative side hotel room facing the pool was out dated. beds and pillow very hard. it was during off season so the money we paid for room was over priced compare to 3 or 4 star national chains. they can charge more for being clothing optional. we met several nice couples during our stay. every body in the resort made us feel comfortable. over all pleasent experience and we will stay again.

We had a nice suite at the motel. Was going to Coachella and booked it through Hotels.com. I was surprised to see it was a nudist facility however manager found us a room that was remote, so no problem.

pleasant stayPosted Apr 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel rooms could use some updating and are on the smaller-side, but everything was clean and comfortable. Hotel staff was very friendly as were other hotel patrons. The hotel grounds were well-kept and pools/hot tubs were nice and spacious, especially the salt-water pool. A very short cab ride and you are at downtown Palm Springs.

Desert Sun Nudist Resort Palm SpringsPosted Apr 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
An extremely relaxing couples place just far enough away from the busy shops of Palm Springs. Three swimming pools to choose from. A social one and a quiet one. Wonderful landscaping with flower and shade trees for those very warm hours and for those who don't want to lay out and tan or burn. Rooms are fine but bathrooms are very small but since this is a nudist resort you rarely need the shower use the ones outdoors by the pool. Average age of visitors is over 45 and people are respectful and pleasant. Good front desk people. I can't recommend the on site which is usually just a lunch spot the food there is ok but very slow service, but you don't go here for the food, it is the sunshine and relaxing ambiance. Its a little slice of heaven. Bring sun and skin lotion and drink lots of water as the desert climate can dry you out. There are nice getaways to the PS shops, Indian Canyon walks, art museum and Palm Desert zoo and arial tram to the mountains but who want to leave when you can relax in this heated pool . You have to be comfortable with your body but usually if its a first time you will be relaxed and at home after ten minutes. Give it a try.
