Best value for moneyPosted Nov 16, 2014
Pros: Breakfast and managers reception made this package very good value for money.
Cons: The sunloungers need updating. The outside breakfast area needs to be cleared on a regular basis to discourage the birds.
Location: Good location to explore the desert cities. Within walking distance to a nice bar/ restaurant Cactus Jacks. Good food and nice friendly place.
We stayed 6 nights and were in a 2nd floor room for the first two nights. After very little sleep due to being able to hear the occupants of the room above walking around we asked to be moved. Lisa on reception was very helpful and moved us to a newly refurbished room on the 3rd ( top floor). Everything was perfect after that, the room was comfortable and although it had been painted and had new carpet, the furniture was still a bit dated. This would not put me off staying here again, however I would insist on a 3rd floor room. Breakfast could get busy at the weekend but it wasn't too bad you just have to be patient and considerate to others, there is plenty to go around. Be aware if you sit outside, don't leave your breakfast unattended, the birds literally sweep in and take the food from your plate. Overall a pleasant experience and I would definately recommend this hotel for comfort and good value.

The bed was a little too firm for my liking, but that's just me!

Current remodeling going on, should be better.Posted Sep 8, 2014
Very crowded due to the holiday weekend, and many adults crowded the pool, drinking beer after beer without leaving the pool. Do you want to swim there?

Palm Desert Business GetawayPosted Aug 31, 2014
We had to go to the area to see acreage we inherited and made a reservation at this hotel at the last minute and because it was close to our destination. What a pleasant surprise. The staff was very efficient, the grounds are well laid out, and everything was clean and well ,maintained. The host hour was a surprise and the made to order breakfast was excellent. We'll come again.

Old and worned, but very comfortablePosted Aug 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
We love the Embassy in Palm Desert. The business center was not working, so they let me use the main office computers. The free breakfast is the best free breakfast I have ever had. The free drinks are small and served in plastic and have a line, but they are free and good. The pool gets too crowded on the weekend; but during the week, it is empty. I hope the new owners don't change the family atmosphere.

Reservation moved without noticePosted Aug 19, 2014
Turned up to be told our entire reservation has been shifted to another hotel 10 miles away. No prior notice or contact.
