Birthday get-a-way

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Rooms were well appointed, service was great, happy-hour & full breakfast daily a huge plus to the visit.
Cons: Pool was somewhat small for the size of the hotel, but we went in late August at height of summer, so it was crowded.
Location: We played golf at only one of five amaizing courses in La Quinta. Shopping was very close by as well.
It was a birthday get-a-way for some family and friends. Guys played golf, ladies enjoyed the pool time. Rooms were clean, roomy, well appointed (microwave, small refrigerator, sink) that everyone in our party enjoyed, especially my daughter who has two small children. Staff was very attentive, check-in and checkout was quick & easy. Open-bar Happy Hour (5:30-7:30pm) was a hit with the adults, and the full hot breakfast was amazing. We will definitely be staying at an Embassy Suites again.

Great Business Hotel in the Desert Cities

Posted Aug 10, 2014
Pros: Pretty much everything. It's certainly a destination for families, but it works well for business travelers too.
Cons: Would love to see a few updates -- make-up mirrors in the bathroom, luggage stands, more outlets.
Location: It's really nice in the hotel and on its grounds, so I don't venture out much. I check in and stay in until check out.
I work in the Eastern Coachella Valley as a consultant and stay here often. Great location, nice rooms, great staff. Fantastic bartender!

Good location close to golf resorts

Posted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: Standard suites, free happy hour, free breakfast
Cons: Shower pressure could be better.
Location: Across the street from a cute strip mall and a couple of restaurants. It's near a lot of golf courses.
Staying at Embassy Suites is always a good choice for families. It was your standard Embassy with a spa. I didn't get to use the spa but it smelled great from the lobby. The breakfast was standard. It was good as always.

Comfortable an peaceful.

Posted Jun 29, 2014
Pros: Quiet location, good service and good value
Cons: Perhaps some updating in the decor.
Location: Shopping opportunities at La Quinta Old Town across the road and at Palm Desert close by. We came to relax and didn't explore too much.
We chose a Casita which gave self catering opportunities with a cooked breakfast and Managers reception in the evening thrown in - what's not to like? We also had the benefit of the use of one of the smaller pools and spa which suited us better. A couple of minor issues with the air conditioning and TV on arrival were dealt with quickly and efficiently. A very pleasant stay in the desert heat.

did not want to go home...

Pros: everything.
Cons: nothing
Location: close to everything, a short drive to shopping, golf, restaurants, safe to walk,
stayed at 3 different hotels to try them.one was very pricey, but not even close to the embassy suites. I stayed 3 days, had a great suite, loved the breakfast, walked the area, excercised, and was able to rela x and be stress free. the staff is friendly, helpful. will definitely stay there again.
