Comfortable spot in LaQuintaPosted Apr 9, 2015
Pros: Clean, large rooms. Good breakfast and cocktail hour included in the price.
Cons: Pool was overrun by children (it was spring break).
Location: Old Town La Quinta is just a block away, with shops and good restaurants. We also enjoyed the small La Quinta historical museum nearby.
Room was large. Breakfast and cocktail hour were nice pluses. Good value for the money.

Friendly, helpful staff!Posted Apr 5, 2015
Pros: The location was great. They served up an excellent breakfast and we enjoyed the manager's reception in the early evening.
Cons: The air conditioning unit was noisy, but otherwise the room was comfortable.
The hotel is in a great location for proximity to restaurants, shopping and hiking trails. We received great advice and suggestions regarding hiking from the front desk staff.

Fantastic hotelPosted Apr 3, 2015
Pros: Everything !!
Location: A nice quiet location, but only about 20 mins drive into Palm Springs. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance.
Booked this hotel on line and hoped it was going to be good. It was EXCELLENT in every aspect. Friendly greeting on arrival, beautiful grounds, very clean inside, great pool and the breakfast was amazing. Managers reception every night was an added bonus. Walking distance to several restaurants, in a quiet area. Would happily recommend this hotel to anyone.

The staff and facility were very good.Posted Mar 12, 2015
Cons: It would have been nice if were told that the pool was closed for maintenance before we arrived
Location: This was our first time to Palm Springs and we found the commute to down-town (17 miles) took about 45 minutes and was a bit annoying.
The facility was very will kept and kept clean. The pool was closed for 3 of the days we were there but notices were posted and we were informed when the pool was opened. Breakfast was very good with a large variety and custom omelettes available. The evening snacks and drinks were good with a good selection. Overall a 4.5 and we would stay there again.

Great place to stayPosted Mar 10, 2015
Pros: Beautiful property, clean and quiet, comfortable bed, roomy suites.
Cons: As above...more gluten-free options, especially at breakfast (bread for toast) and at the evening reception (gluten-free chips).
Location: We love the La Quinta area...so pretty! Great restaurants and atmosphere at Old Town across the street. No need to drive.
We came back to the Embassy Suites in La Quinta...had also stayed there two years ago. Beautiful property directly across from the Old Town of La Quinta. Wonderful reception every evening (Happy Hour). We also ate three dinners at the on-site restaurant and they were all excellent. Our only criticism is that we would have liked more gluten free options, especially at breakfast and at the evening reception. The only gluten-free option at the reception was the vegetable tray. It would have been nice if there has been some gluten-free corn or potato chips. Also, we stayed at the Embassy Suites South while in Anaheim last October and they provided gluten-free bread for toast at breakfast. This could easily be kept in the freezer and made available on request. There was only one item on the dinner menu that was gluten-free (pasta) and it was very tasty. The staff was very helpful in checking with the chef to see that the other items we ordered (chicken and fish) were adapted (i.e.: grilled and not fried).
