I Will Stay Here Again

Posted Jan 29, 2015
Pros: Complimentary breakfast and nightly reception. Spacious suites.
Cons: Late check out communication/committments.
Location: The location is nothing fancy. But the area is beautiful. We went 2 times to The River. Once for dinner, and once for a movie.
Nice quiet hotel. Suites are spacious. Microwave and mini fridge are a nice amenity. Manager's Reception each evening has quite a selection of snacks and beverages. Complimentary breakfast each morning is well stocked with many choices including a made to order omlette station. The area is beautiful nestled up next to the hills of La Quinta. My husband and I were on our way to the gym when we decided to go for a jog instead because it was beautiful outside. I will definitely make an effort to return to this facility as long as it maintains this level of quality. BUT don't go here if you are looking for a resort sized pool experience. The pool area is adequate, but not like the JW Marriot down the road. This trip for us wasn't about the pool time.

Across the street from Old Town La Quinta

Posted Jan 26, 2015
Pros: Spotless rooms, extra-comfy bed
Location: Old Town La Quinta - Nitroinfusion, best homemade ice cream; picturesque gates at homes in La Quinta Cove; Bear Creek Trail; Sunday farmer's market.
Sound sleep, great buffet breakfast, good coffee, attentive and pleasant staff (Hi Sylvia!) a super nice pool - all made for a memorable stay at this hotel.

Pros: Location, quiet, rooms, free parking, free wifi and breakfast
Cons: Problem with request for balcony. Misunderstanding at check in.
Location: Old Town La Quinta just across the street. Convenience store close by all with in walking distance
Had requested room with balcony and was told there was't one. After a bit we were able to get 2 rooms with balconies. 2nd time staying here and would recommend it to friends.

Honestly, the hotel exceeded my expectations!

Posted Jan 15, 2015
Pros: Breakfast & beds were very cozy.
Cons: Keep up the good work
I have to say that the way Daniela greeted us at the front desk upon check-in is what set the tone for our visit. She was warm, helpful, & more than accommodating to our needs. She went above and beyond to enhance our experience there. In addition to that, the complimentary full breakfast was THE best perk ever. We had a jam packed day that kicked of at 8am for 4 days straight and the breakfast kept us alert and ready for a full day. The omelets that were made for us were excellent. Thank you for your hospitality!

Weekend in Palm Springs

Posted Nov 26, 2014
Pros: I loved the comfortable bed and the great breakfast. There is also a quiet library that you can read in and places outside to sit and soak up the sun.
Location: Just across the street is a lovely quaint group of shops called Olde Towne. It has some lovely gift and dress shops as well as a few eating places.
I booked this hotel last minute and we were very pleased with the hotel. It is in a quiet suburb of Palm Springs so if you are looking for quiet this is a great choice. The room was lovely and the bed was comfortable. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was excellent.

Business and Pleasure

Posted Nov 25, 2014
Pros: Good location. Well maintained. Friendly and efficient staff.
Cons: Quality of food., Free WiFi.
Location: Several quality local restaurants.
This is an older hotel but kept in good condition. The staff I'd friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and furnished. However, the furniture is not all that comfortable. Charging for WiFi iS a bit much. The breakfast offerings were extensive.,the food was above average. We would stay here again.

Disappointing overall

Posted Nov 24, 2014
Lukewarm service with staff doing minimal work. No towels in the pool area. Pool area overall is small and not as pretty s on pictures. Room for four adults was booked with bed couch without warning. The couch is not suitable for adults to sleep on due to a very thin and bad mattress- maybe okay with kids. No blankets for the couch, had to request them separately. Overall, a disappointing experience. I have slept better and seen better service in much cheaper hotels.
