Comfortable an peaceful.Posted Jun 29, 2014
Pros: Quiet location, good service and good value
Cons: Perhaps some updating in the decor.
Location: Shopping opportunities at La Quinta Old Town across the road and at Palm Desert close by. We came to relax and didn't explore too much.
We chose a Casita which gave self catering opportunities with a cooked breakfast and Managers reception in the evening thrown in - what's not to like? We also had the benefit of the use of one of the smaller pools and spa which suited us better. A couple of minor issues with the air conditioning and TV on arrival were dealt with quickly and efficiently. A very pleasant stay in the desert heat.

did not want to go home...Posted Jun 16, 2014
Location: close to everything, a short drive to shopping, golf, restaurants, safe to walk,
stayed at 3 different hotels to try them.one was very pricey, but not even close to the embassy suites. I stayed 3 days, had a great suite, loved the breakfast, walked the area, excercised, and was able to rela x and be stress free. the staff is friendly, helpful. will definitely stay there again.

Shelter from the desert heatPosted Jun 10, 2014
Pros: Very quiet
Location: Near Palm Springs with plenty of very good restaurants in the vicinity. Weather was VERY hot. If you play golf and like the heat this is the place.
Enjoyed our stay. Upgraded to Casita on arrival and did not regret it. Small swimming pool shared with few other Casitas - most of the time we had it to ourselves (weather was 42C). Manager's reception each evening was excellent serving premium drinks. Breakfast was usual Embassy Suites - good. Accommodation was nice on second floor with good views of pool, hummingbirds and road runners (very tame). Aircon worked well.

Location: A small number of good restaurants are nearby within walking distance.
Wonderful, clean Hotel with great staff. Two Adults sharing a room with 3 kids (7, 9, 11) and two double beds meant a bit of a squeeze. Pool area was OK but a little smaller than it looked in the photo. Free drinks and snacks form 17:30 to 19:30 was a bonus!

Great location and an excellent valuePosted May 19, 2014
Pros: Location Value
Cons: Could use some updating. The property is starting to show it's age.
Location: Great location. Old Town La Quinta is across the street. Very convenient!
This property is away from the business of Palm Springs but it is close to everything. The rooms are large and very functional. Staff seemed very engaged and are eager to please the guests. We plan to stay here again!

MOST FOR YOUR BUCKPosted May 18, 2014
Small...not too "resort" like but was clean and quaint and importantly gets the job done. Great for adults since not much is offered for children. A variety of shops and restaurants are walking distance, which makes it convenient. The hotel offers free happy hour for all guests starting at 5:00 pm AND also includes free delicious buffet style breakfast and coffee each morning. The pool is small and may not be as exciting for kids but an adult can appreciate it. Hotel staff was friendly and extremely accomodating.

Excellent, comfortable, friendly hotel.Posted May 5, 2014
We enjoyed this hotel more than some of the higher rated, more expensive hotels we've stayed at in the area! From check in to check out, everyone was friendly and helpfull. The room was spacious with a separate sitting area. Terrific breakfast in a light filled atrium. Would definitely stay again.

First trip to Palm Springs and w kidsPosted Apr 17, 2014
It was our first trip to the area but not to an embassy. The lobby staff were very cordial and gave us a list of fun things to do with our children (ages 7&12), of which we did many. We took in the Living Desert, shopping, Boomers and Joshua Tree Nat park (a must!). Our room was clean, breakfast was as we expected and always great. The pool served its purpose and the gentleman serving us food and beverages poolside was great. Our room was clean. Overall a great experience. Two items of note. I felt the snacks served at the managers social were blah at best. Secondly we left on a friday right before a Cochella festival. The place gets overrun w the college crowd so it would have been tough w kids poolside. We had a most excellent visit and would highly reccommend staying here.
