On the main highway 111.Posted Sep 6, 2013
Pros: Casual about most of the things.
Cons: I think you need to train your staff a little about customer dealings.
It is under construction and some of the staffs are not well trained yet. On the third floor, it was not clear which way was my room as there was no sign which direction I should go for my room after you get off the elevator. Most of the hotel has a sign indicating room numbers for each direction so that you would know which direction you need to go.

Fix the jacuzzi.Posted Sep 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
The rooms were good. The staff was friendly. The jacuzzi was nasty. The pool has cracked tiles and gives you a sense that it's not too clean.

A little Bit too pricey.Posted Aug 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
The jacuzzi was closed and there was no mentioning on line about that when we book it.The pool was full of hair and the surroundings of the pool were not clean. There was nobody to replace clean towels until almost the closing of the pool. The breakfast and the rooms were fine.

did not know they were remodelingPosted Jul 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
AC not working, moved to another room but not a king bed like we had. Ice machine on our floor out of order. Remodeling in progress. They should have let us know that in advance.

Conveniently located. Easy to find.Posted Jun 29, 2013
Pros: Location and cleanliness of room.
Cons: Plumbing, air conditioning, odors.
Location: Near major arteries and thru streets.
An okay value, for what I paid. Anymore than that, not a value. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Pleasant people working there. The room was ultra clean and fresh. Comfortable room with a lot of space. On the down side. There was a stale, musty odor that permeated most of the common areas especially the upstairs hallway. The place had the smell of a place that had been dried out after a flood, but doubt that happened in Palm Desert. Fortunately, the odor was not present in the room. The plumbing is old and antiquated. The plumbing fixtures are functional at best. When you take a shower and someone flushes a toilet on your floor you will get scalded. The air conditioning, well not sure if that it was, but not good. I put the setting at its lowest when I first entered the room and when I got back several hours later it was almost comfortable in the room. The air conditioning ran all night, never shut off, which was a distraction. Finally, about 5am I woke up shivering. The system was basically beyond regulation. The only option was to set it to its lowest setting and suffer later. Each morning then there was a puddle of water in the bathroom common area directly below the cold air return. The complimentary breakfast was just okay, nothing to write home about, but better than nothing. In summary, great staff. Antiquated, smelly facility. Not a good value if the rate is high, and during the summer almost an ordeal. In summary, great staff

nice hotel close to shopping, dining, hikingPosted Jun 11, 2013
Pros: staff was friendly. great location.
Cons: just a little updating as needed. the pool was fine but could have used some upkeep. several leaves in the pool.
Location: there is a hiking trail behind the Target store across the street. the trail name is "bump and grind" and let me tell you, it is a workout. Go early
we stayed one night at this hotel and the location of it couldnt have been better. It was close to shopping, restaurants and an awesome hiking trail. the staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean. Great price but the location is what will get me back there.
