“Good Value”

I stayed here because I was doing an organized 100-mile bike ride and the start of the ride was across the street. The hotel was everything I needed. My only caveat is that it's location, while good for the event, was not within walking distance of the downtown area.

Excellent Mexican food across the street not too far from casino... except the noisy fridge in the room it was good. Always clean and comfy at the hampton

“Super Clean!”

Had a pretty much flawless stay at this hotel... the decor of the hotel/room was nothing extravagant but it was nice. The room was immaculate, the bed was comfy, the TV was a nice flat screen with Direct TV... The bathroom was clean, and the linens all seemed brand new... My only complaint would be that the Biscuits and Gravy at breakfast were totally nasty and the eggs were from a powder i think, but everything else was fresh and yummy, especially the coffee and waffles. My husband and I joked that we are always going to stay at all the Hampton Inn's when we travel- they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee, so if it sucks for some reason, we can get our money back!! nice!

When to go

The Palm Desert area gets super hot in summer, I would recommend visiting in the cooler months!

“We'll be back next spring for Stagecoach”

We plan to stay here again next spring when we return to the area. Hopefully they will have more lounge chairs for the pool area by then. Enjoyed our stay there.

“MAINTENANCE PROBLEMS ROOM AIR CONDITIONER”

The hotel staff was great. The free breakfast was so so. My complaint was the room air conditioner was very loud and vibrated the whole room.

“Would Stay Again”

No complaints whatsoever. Clean rooms, easy access from I-10, and right next to a Starbucks! Had the free breakfast every day, which was great!

“No repeat visit here”

The pool is essentially outside the hotel, below the hotel lobby and the street, so noisy and not private. also, pool wasn't very clean. the checkin was horrible. but the people were nice enough, just incompetent. fro haivng to wait over 1/2 hours for our room, we were "rewarded" with one bottle of drinking water. whoopee!

“Great Location, Clean & Comfortable”

The hotel accomodated my requests at booking. My son played a golf tournament at the local Classic Club, minutes away. The hotel has a great breakfast with fresh waffles made available. The area is clean and newer, with good fast food and restaurant options. The weather was on the cool side but the pool was heated and towels were made available at the front desk. The room had a mini fridge and microwave, complimentary popcorn. Absolutely will recommend and stay again.

“Nice hotel but can't hear the TV”

When we got to our room, we had two double beds when I had asked for a king...we immediately went back to the front desk and requested what we had asked for and they had no problem moving us to another room (it was not busy at all, so there were plenty of open rooms). The only complaint we had was that we could NOT hear the tv when the air conditioner was running (the volume seemed to be set to a certain point) when the air conditioner was on, you couldn't hear the tv at all...if you don't watch tv, it won't be a problem...but for those of us who like to relax at night with the tv on, it is VERY difficult to hear with the volume all the way up and therefore very frustrating. Otherwise our stay was just fine.

Area recommendations

Palm Desert was a good choice to stay...lots of restaurants down off Hwy 111 which is about 3 miles away.
