Greatest Hospitality Ever

Posted Apr 12, 2014
Jackie at the front desk, Therese who I believe is Director of Marketing were both absolutely amazing with their generosity and hospitality. I can't stop talking to everyone about the amazing service at the Hard rock. I wish it wasn't booked for the whole weekend but I was lucky to have stayed the one night it was definitely an experience I'll never forget.

Ideal location.

Posted Apr 11, 2014
Pros: The location and the staff.
Cons: The hotel should make sure the a/c is working before assigning a room to guests. Palm Springs usually has high temperatures year round.
Location: Shopping & dining. Liked the Matchbox restaurant.
Had a good time overall. However our room's air conditioning was not working. Felt like an oven in there. A service man came up but was not able to fix the problem. We were switched to another room which worked fine. No more problems after that.

Great room, great service, food ok

Posted Apr 7, 2014
It's the second time we've stayed at the HRH in Palm Springs and the staff is great! complimentary valet parking with great people working there. Service at the restaurant is slow but pleasant. We had room service this time and weren't too impressed with the food, my omelet seemed to have been made with the whole egg, I mean, including the shell... but other than that we loved our stay. At night there's a DJ and apparently it was a big night for Palm Springs and the hotel was totally unprepared, we met about 30 friends there and it was impossible to get a drink. They had only 3 bartenders for about 300 people. Bad call on the Hard Rock, they could have probably made a LOT of money if they had prepared for an ANNUAL party.... oh well...

Nice hotel to chill

A beautiful hotel with cool rooms, the decoration is so rockstar. I order a fender telecaster vintage to the room, it was amazing.

Not what we were expecting-

Posted Mar 25, 2014
Pros: Great location in the heart of downtown.
Cons: Cleanliness, music.
Having stayed at the Hard Rock in Las Vegas a few times, we were expecting an equally fantastic experience with great amenities & rock music. Unfortunately this hotel appeared to be an older hotel that was simply redone with some new paint, some rock & roll artifacts & artwork. In general, it was dirty with crumbs on the bar floor and stains on our carpet. Instead of rock & roll they played club music all day at the pool and at night in the bar. The pool and jaccuzzi area were small and nondescript, I would say the lobby was the nicest part with the best "Hard Rock" feel. Our room was not ready until 10 minutes after check-in time (4 pm) although we were there 2 hours before this - and they tried to charge the wrong credit card instead of the one we checked in with, creating a bit of an embarrassment until they realized what they had done. The ice machine on our floor was not working so, having waited for the elevator for some time, I decided to take the stairs which locked me out of every floor so I had to go out the street exit carrying my ice bucket. I guess the best way to describe this hotel is the old saying "you can put lipstick on a pig but...".

Almost perfect :)

Posted Mar 24, 2014
Pros: The atsmophere, staff, location....
Cons: The noise of "happy" guest heading out for the night and returning a little more "happy". It was hard to have the sliding door open for fresh air.
I attended the CUE confernece 2014. The hotel staff was very welcoming, polite, and available at all times. The facilities were very conventient and close to where I needed to go. Restaurants and shop were all within walking distance and all very welcoming as well. I plan to come back with my family at another time.

Centrally located

Posted Mar 23, 2014
Pros: Central
Cons: housekeeping staff need to be on top of picking up dishes in halls. Glasses outside our room were there for a day and a half, and they weren't ours.
Location: Right in the middle of shopping and restaurants
Very friendly and accommodating staff. Valet parking and fitness center added perks. Coffee makers in rooms wouldn't hurt.

Hard Rock Hotel Rocks

Posted Mar 21, 2014
Pros: Everything.
Cons: It is starting to look a little bit worn
Location: You can valet your car and walk everywhere. Close to shopping, restaurants, main street for the street fair, etc.
My daughter and I booked into the hotel and did not know what to expect. The displays of memorabilia was really neat to look at. The lady at the check in was so nice and was great at helping with a room selection. She let me know that the pool had a DJ that night so I choose an outside room so it was not noisy. The pool was great and the location just could not have been better. We walked everywhere as it was close to shopping, main street and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Waited too long...

Posted Mar 20, 2014
Pros: Room clean and wonderful. Pillows OK.
Cons: Customer service
Check in at 4, got there early, room not ready, although everybody that came after me was checked in early. After getting to my room at 4:20, took an hour for them to bring up my luggage. Had a 4:30 appointment. Had to call down 3 times to ask where it was.
