Super cool hotel

Posted Aug 28, 2014
I Def loved the hotel. It was my first time there and i loved what a cool vibe it had. The pool was great, good drinks and music. The only downfall was that the AC wasn't working at first. So it got a bit muggy in our room but the staff did what they could to make us comfortable. I would Def go back though.

Its really nice looking but for the price I'd say its not worth it. There are other hotels in the area that are cheaper and very nice still. I also did not like that they close the pool so early. It was still broad day light when they started shutting it down.

no restaurant for dinner, pool close at 8 pm no jacuzzi big noise in the lobby they are more interested about the party of people that are not staying than people that are staying, hotel guest have the priority they will spend more money than the party people starting that the already pay 300 dollars for a room al the people in the lobby wont even spent that amount in drinking, i would not stay there again.

Awesome hotel with great customer service

Posted Aug 23, 2014
Pros: Everything from the staff to the decor to the room.
Location: Right in the middle of downtown where all the nice restaurants and bars are located.
We arrived at 7am and it was raining, the receptionist Jackie was kind enough to let us check in early. The room was spacious and very clean, the valet guys were super sweet and professional, overall we had an amazing stay and would go back if we ever visited Palm Springs again.

Party on the weekends quiet during the week

Posted Aug 21, 2014
Pros: Decor was fun and the Spa was great
Location: In downtown Palm Springs -extremely close to restaurants and shops
Definitely be ready for music and a crowded pool area over the weekend. It was very much party central for most of the weekend with the music starting at 10am on Saturday but overall everyone was well behaved -- thank you security, and seemed to be having a great time. I sort solace in the Rock Spa which was great.. The hotel location is perfect in the center of Palm Springs close to everything. By Sunday night the hotel was pretty quiet and both Monday and Tuesday the pool area was serene. Overall it was a great stay I would go there again but maybe during the week rather than the weekend. Employees were very helpful and pleasant especially in the spa.

Excellent bar and front desk staff

Posted Aug 17, 2014
Friendly staff especially Mikey at the indoor bar and Juan at the pool bar. Their service was impeccable. Housekeeping needs improvement. First room, TV didn't work, they moved us to a 2nd room which looked like it wasn't cleaned, bed was a mess, luggage racks still out, the 3rd room was a charm although the bottled water was missing as well as the hair dryer, lamp didn't work. Have stayed at other Hard Rock properties and this wasn't what I expected. The friendly staff is what saves this hotel.

Only worth the discounted price

Posted Aug 16, 2014
Pros: Great valet staff!
Cons: Front desk seemed unorganized. Appearance of common areas could be improved. Only got one cup of coffee for 2 people in our room.
Location: Great location in downtown Palm Springs. Easy to walk to many shops and restaurants.
Valet staff were amazing! However, apparently we showed up during a floor cleaning time and the lobby was covered in yellow tape. Even though I had paid for an upgraded room with a view, we were given the lower level room upon check in. It seemed like the staff were unorganized and we had issues with several things, including the elevators. The hotel was not as nice as I expected, but the actual room was very comfortable. It was satisfactory and I'm sure it's better during other times of year when it's busier, but all things considered, I would definitely choose to stay at other hotels before going back.

The hotel itself is awesome. The staff is absolutely terrible and the restaurant is hands down the slowest and least worth the wait around. Overall had a great experience as far as the rooms and the decor but the staff needs a serious overhaul.

Pass on this

Posted Aug 14, 2014
Location: Shops are in walking distance, but many shops seemed to be closed on a Monday afternoon.
I was excited to stay at the Hard Rock due to the pictures on their website. But it was disappointing when i arrived. The pool was not as great as I expected. The comfort of the room was just ok. I could hear everything, from people walking, pounding... it just wasnt as I had expected. The staff were friendly, but I expected more overall from this hotel. I also attempted to book a massage/scrub at the hotel, but the last appt was at 2PM. I felt that was a bit too early for the last appt of the day, which was also disappointing.

The hotel I good, but the restaurant was really bad services. It was just 2 tables and we wait for 30 min just to order.
