Pros: Room and staff
Cons: better spa ammenities
Location: It is the absolute best location in Palm Springs

For party 20 somethings only

Posted Mar 3, 2015
Paper thin walls, could hear someone walking around either above my room or in the hallway. TV picture was poor with blue strip going down one side and a empty beer can wedged between the TV and wall. Bathroom door squeaked when ever it moved making for a poor nights sleep when sharing a room with others needing to use the toilet during the night. Had a transient black female yelling outside the balcony nightly for some reason.

Great hotel if you're looking to be near downtown.

Pros: Good internet signal Clean room Comfortable Beds
Cons: Balcony cleanliness TV Channels / Signal
The location of this hotel was great... easy walking distance to downtown... lots of restaurants and things to do, however, the room was a bit disappointing. The room was nice, and the bed was comfortable, but the "City View" room was overlooking the back of a stripmall parking lot. The balcony had two chairs and a table, but you wouldn't enjoy sitting there because not only did the view leave a lot to be desired, but there was lots of pigeon poop all over the balcony and chairs. The television reception was also very poor. Several of the channels (i.e. Discovery, CNN, History Channel) were not working at all. I called the front desk three times to have it fixed and they promised somebody would "come up right away." I never once saw a maintenance person or had the problem resolved. That being said, the internet signal was very strong, the bed was comfortable, and the room was clean and well appointed. If you're looking for a place to work, sleep, and grab some food - this is a great option. If you're looking to relax in the room, watch TV, or sit on the balcony enjoying the Palm Springs view, I'd consider looking elsewhere.

Good Job on do over

It's a Hard Rock, but it's a Palm Springs Hard Rock and it fits. Of course they could do a bit more with service (the area is competitive) but the place is clean, rooms are good size, food is good, and you can't beat the location. Recommended.

Great Central Location in Palm Springs

Posted Feb 21, 2015
Pros: Loved the location of the hotel and the rooms were very well equipped, with funky beds, a nice shower.
Location: Shopping, entertainment and dinning are all within steps of the hotel.
We were greeted by very helpful, courteous staff. The property is well located and well equipped for travellers looking for a place to hang out by the pool, be entertained or for good food and drink. An extra shout out to the excellent front desk staff.

It's really nice

Ok if you want luuuuuuuxury then go to one of the high dollar places but if you've decided to be reasonable yet want to still see the area, Hard Rock has nice rooms/ nice and fast room service/ wifi and what in passing looked like a good bar hang out (if you come with friends). For an overnight it was just right. Will be a repeat customer esp if my 20 something kids are along for the ride.

Convenient Located, Hipster Vibe

Posted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: Location, location, location. And my furbabies are always welcome! (There is a $75 pet fee)
Cons: Since the hotel is dog friendly, it would be great if there was some grass on the property!
Location: The hotel is centrally located and an easy walk to shops, dining and other activities.
I've stayed at Hard Rock Palm Springs twice and had a great experience both times. They are pet friendly which is one of the main reasons we stay there. They are also centrally located to downtown Palm Springs which makes walking to dinner and activities really convenient. The pool area is always fun and there is a live DJ on the weekends. Everyone from the valet staff to pool staff are friendly and helpful.

Just OK

Posted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: The decor
Cons: Everything looked worn and tired, like it wasn't taken care of very well.
The hotel has a great ambiance when you walk in. I loved the decor/style. Throughout the lobby, halls and elevator everything looked very worn, scuffed up and just plain not taken care of. The hotel looks relatively new so this was disappointing. The room itself was OK. I was concerned about the cleanliness of the room because I found hair in the tub and pubes in the toilet. We ordered room service during our stay and not only did they have a small limited selection the food we ordered was awful. It was clearly frozen and reheated. Overall this could be a great property with the proper care, but for this stay I don't think it was worth the price paid.
