“Priced good”
Happy with hotel
“Do NOT book this hotel until they renovate it.”
The hotel's over rated with 3.5 stars, and thus the price I paid didn't justify the quality of the hotel. It should be in the same rating or lower than Motel 6 or Motel 8. Everything in the room is very out-dated. The sink doesn't drain well. There's even leak in the bathroom ceiling. Since we only stayed one night, it was late and the leak didn't really bother us, so we didn't bother to request another room. No flat screen tv and no refrigerator considering we're at the end of 2011. The temperature control is very old style which you can only find if you walk into one's granny's house that hasn't been upgraded since it was built. I thought we were in the 80s. I never expected it from a Hilton. Wait until they renovate it, otherwise, do NOT book this hotel. I'm sure there're other better options for the same price!
“Not impressed”
The hotel is pretty out-dated. I expected more from a Hilton. The food was pretty good and the service was above average.

“Great Shopping Area”
We stay at Hilton hotel in Palm Spring because we had friends came from China whom would like to shop at Desert Hills Premium Outlets. The hotel location was very quite and convenient for us . We arrived pretty late and the restaurant was ready to be closed, but the front desk was very helpful, they went to talk to the restaurant manager to stay late for us, so 20 of us didn't have to go out to search the restaurant after the long driving day and the food was very good. The breakfast was included (that's another plus) and had pretty good varieties. We only stay for one night, overall we were pretty happy.
“So - So”
We recently had a two night stay at the Hilton Palm Springs. It is an older hotel, but well maintained for the age. Considering it is 2011, I was surprised that there was no refrigerator in the room. This made it difficult to have my husband feed our baby who is breast fed because I could not refrigerate my milk. The beds were comfortable and the hotel accomodated us with a crib. I was surprised that the TVs were old, but they were fine to watch on. What was really surprising was that we checked in on Friday and our room was not cleaned on Saturday. We weren't that bothered except for the fact that we did not get a new set of towels. My husband was disappointed with how the bartenders in the outside bar poured his beer. They poured down very fast and so it got frothy. He eventually just poured his own beer. The pool was crowded on Saturday, which would be expected. I was a bit grossed out with the fact that one family let their baby in the pool without any swim diapers! As a mother, this is a big no no. The baby was probably peeing the whole time in the pool and could have pooped! Overall, it was fine for the price, but we will probably stay somewhere with a nicer pool next time since that's what the kids like to do while they are there. Loved the proximity to the casino and downtown Palm Springs though.
“Great location!”
We would recommend staying at this hotel again, especially for the convenience of being able to walk to downtown Palm Springs. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. Our only complaint was that our room was next to the Presidential Suite filled with a group of people partying loudly until 3:00am. DIdn't get much sleep that night! The next night they were gone and we slept fine. The grounds are pretty but the pool is a little on the small side.
“Comfortable Hotel for the price”
Ov.erall we had a good stay, no refridgerator in room, and room service had mishap with our room number so we had to call back, breakfast was over an hour to get. The spa was amazing, the hotel was quiet, and good location to downtown. Would recommend
“Run down hotel”
I'm absolutely shocked that people give nice reviews to this hotel. It could've been, if they remodeled it, but besides the lobby it hasn't been touched in what looks like 10 years. The carpet, paint, doors looked so dingy and bit up, I'd guess it was a 2 star hotel from the looks of it. There were screw ankers and pencil marks on exposed wall paper in our room. The TV was so tiny and old. And their room service food was pretty much inedible. I have to give compliment them on their service though. Everything we asked for we got immediately. And my daughter loved their large pool. If they remodeled this hotel it would be 3.5 stars as they claim it is. As it stands now I wouldn't give them more then 2 stars. I've stayed in 2-3 star hotels like Ramada and Days Inn that were better maintained.
“Nice break from the Seattle Rain.”
My wife and I had a very good experience with the Hilton in Palm Springs. We stayed five nights. The good points with this property are: A very easy free shuttle ride from the airport. Great large pool, two hot tubs with different temperatures, always lots of lounge chairs and towels, poolside drink/food service. A free real breakfast, not the usual "continental breakfast", large rooms with balconys, ours faced the pool. EASY walking distance, (two blocks), to the main street in Palm Springs. Great happy hour in the lounge every night. The rooms were very large and clean. The best part of our stay here was the friendy staff who seemed to actually enjoy their jobs working here and were always friendy and helpful. I would definetly reccomend this hotel and would love to go back.
