Homewood Suites - Excellent ChoicePosted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: A very attentive staff and very quiet, so you can sleep-in late.
Cons: I would say during the summer months that they offer throughout the day Ice Tea and or Lemonade.
Location: It is centrally located between Coachella and Palm Springs with a lot to do in these cities.

Our Mini Family getawayPosted Jul 16, 2014
Location: Mall, Museum, shopping, beautiful views, resturants
It was amazing. The hotel was amazing the staff was super friendly and accommodating. It was very hot in La Quinta but the pool there kept our children entertained. Towels available poolside. The complimentary breakfast was excellent and had many options for our four children. At breakfast there were people available to help with anything we may need. We read that if you stay at this hotel Monday thru Thursday that they even have complimentary dinner which is just amazing for the price of staying at this hotel. There is an Applebees on the same lot as the hotel and are lots of close dining areas around the area. Also when you go to your room there is a book that just shows you about everything you may want to know about what your stay includes and places to eat and go see while you are in La Quinta. Our kids loved this place they are ages ranging from 3 to 12 and just cant wait til we go to stay here again. We loved this place. Highly Recommended!!!

Pros: The sheets were clean on the bed. The flat screen TV was nice, and the room was a decent size. It contained all the utensils and dishes for cooking.
Cons: Friendliness of the front desk person, cleanliness in general, friendliness of the staff. Did I mention friendliness of the staff?
Location: Location is close to restaurants and shopping centers.
Upon arrival, the front desk woman acted bothered that I was there, which was disappointing. Our room was not cleaned as well as I would hope. There were long black hairs on the bathroom floor, and the toilet looked like the maid used a wet used bath towel to clean the seat, and that was that. The bed was clean, which was nice. The carpet needed vacuuming. The room had a musty odor, which I imagine was an A/C issue. When I asked if we could switch rooms, the same front desk woman responded as if I was completely out of line. So I just let it go. I would not recommend this hotel, nor will I return here.

Nice hotel for the pricePosted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: Pool was very refreshing. Staff was friendly and helpful, especially at breakfast.
Cons: Room carpet was in a bit of disrepair.
Breakfast and pool for nice. Staff was very friendly. Room was nice except for the worn carpet by the restroom which had an exposed tack. My kids found a cockroach in the stairs as well.

Wish we'd stayed longerPosted Jun 27, 2014
Pros: Room furnishings, hotel staff, pool, gym.
Cons: I couldn't get the treadmill in the gym to work.
Location: Great quiet location, about 30 minutes from downtown Palm Springs. The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway is a great way to beat the heat.
The room was big and well-furnished. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was awesome. The gym was pretty good. The continental breakfast wasn't bad.

Great hotel, will stay again!Posted Jun 19, 2014
Pros: Nice pool and included breakfast and dinner made it great for our large group!
Location: Short drive from Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, which is beautiful must-see activity. Very close to Living Desert Zoo & malls.
Truly enjoyed our stay. Staff friendly and helpful, rooms clean and comfortable, and included breakfast and dinner surprisingly good. The location is nice, central to area activities, with mountain views in the distance. All in our party thought it was a great place and good value.

Good valuePosted Jun 15, 2014
Room was a little smaller than expected and walls were a bit thin but overall we were fairly happy. Quick access to the pool from our room. Complimentary breakfast and dinner (M-Th?) were convenient. Nice grill by poolside.
