Nice Hotel, Parking a HasslePosted Apr 19, 2014
Pros: free upgraded room, close to shops and restaurants, 60's Hollywood décor, fresh water in lobby and free bottled water in room
Cons: No parking fee (you already tip valet), more comfortable bed, cheaper drinks in bar, lower room price
Location: Close to downtown shops and restaurants.
Beautiful hotel, but pricey. The kicker is the $25/night parking fee. Since I paid ahead of time without knowing which hotel I was booking, I was not happy to find out there was a mandatory $75 parking fee! The receptionist, Michelle, was awesome. She upgraded our room for free, and the room was beautiful! Unfortunately the bed was old and not comfortable. This hotel is a gem. If they lowered the price, upgraded the beds and removed the parking fee, it would be my hotel of choice! (The hotel was fairly vacant, and it was spring break!)

Nice SurprisePosted Apr 12, 2014
Pros: The large rooms and the separate living area from the bedroom.
Cons: The bathroom wasn't clean. Found lots of hair around the floor by the toilet.
Location: I was there to visit family but the hotel is located downtown, right where all the stores and restaurants are. Loved the location.
Very large and comfortable rooms. I did not expect that at all. I loved the separate living room from the bedroom. Was greeted with a fish tank picture on the TV. My son really enjoyed that! The view from the balcony was truly amazing. Next time I am in Palm Springs, I will stay there again.

Very nice, walk downtown and all the restaurants.Posted Apr 8, 2014
Pros: We liked the rooms, and the location was perfect to walk downtown.
Cons: Not much, really.
Location: We were five minutes from the Copa, for a comedy show, and ten minutes from the Plaza Theatre for the Follies show. Must be 20 restaurants there.
Helpful staff got a great room above the pool area with a view of a golf course and the mountain right behind it. Balcony is very private. Front room is good, with bathroom separate from the bedroom.

Excellent locationPosted Apr 1, 2014
Location: tons of shopping and restaurants at walking distance.
The rooms were very decent in size and very clean. We had a view of the golf course, mountains and the pool which was pretty amazing. The room had everything you would expect to be in a hotel room of this standard. We requested an early check-in but they didn't have anything available so I wouldn't hold that against them. The hotel lobby is huge, clean and well-kept. The staff is friendly and courteous. The location is the best (if you want to walk to downtown palm springs)! I wouldn't stay any place else. On the negative side, there is no self parking in the hotel so you have to get valet or find parking elsewhere.

Expensive, great locationPosted Mar 25, 2014
Pros: Room size, location, great for families.
Location: Our favorite restaurants are all within walking distance--LG steakhouse, Matchbox and Pomme Frites.
We have stayed here almost every time we come to Palm Springs because we love the suite rooms and great location. The bar and outdoor bar facilities are great. The pool is a bit small but nice. The staff are very attentive.

Friendly and accommodatingPosted Mar 23, 2014
My wife and I brought the 3 year old and the 3 month old out with us to a conference. The staff were very helpful from the moment we unpacked the car, to bringing up a crib and being very sweet to my 3 year old son. Rhonda especially, was an absolute perfect host every time we hauled the double wide stroller in and out of the elevators.

Good valuePosted Mar 20, 2014
Large rooms. Comfy beds. Great location right on the strip. Good value. Be sure to get a room on the pool and mountain side so that you dont get the streetwise at night. The resort fee they're all charge is kind of a bummer and is not included in the expedia price shown.
