Nice resort property

Posted Mar 31, 2014
I was there in the spring, weather was nice, the room clean and comfortable. Prices were reasonable in the bar and grill, the staff friendly. The golf course looked to be in great shape.

Great location

Posted Mar 15, 2014
Pros: Quiet, helpful staff.
Cons: The restaurant could open earlier than 9:00 for breakfast
Location: I was attending Indian Wells tennis tournament which was about 10 minutes drive from the hotel.
I was attending Indian Wells tennis tournament. The hotel was conveniently located. It was comfortable and the grounds are beautiful. I wish the pools stayed open later than 6:00pm and that the restaurant opened earlier than 9:00 am. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Very nicely priced.

Actually a pretty good room, had a ceiling fan! It looks old on the outside, but room was reasonably spacious.

Tennis & Golf

Posted Mar 8, 2014
Good place to stay if you are a tennis or golf enthusiast! I would have liked to used the pool but never did figure out how to get in. We met up with a large group from home all down to enjoy the BNP Paribas Open Tennis in nearby Indian Wells.

Great Beds

Posted Mar 7, 2014
Pros: Beds
Cons: TV was too small, inside of an a moire and sound was really bad, and you can't see very well from one of the beds, we had 2 queens
Location: We were about 15 minutes from the Tennis Garden, so good location.
Great beds, large room, nice little kitchen area, small bathroom, and TV situation bad! But if you don't care about the TV, it is great!!

OK but not the luxury portrayed in the photos

Posted Mar 7, 2014
Good experience, but the facility was more like a converted motel, inside a gated community. The pictures made it looked much more impressive than it was. The room was older, with older carpets and shower doors poorly mounted, etc. We had a fine time but it was by no means luxurious.

Very convenient location for numerous venues.

Posted Mar 5, 2014
Pros: Pet Friendly and location.
Cons: The rooms are in need of updating and cleanliness.
Location: Close to the Empire Polo grounds for numerous venues, Thermal Horse Show grounds, Stagecoach and Couchilla music festivals, La Quinta, and golf.
Have stayed here many times, this time it appeared to be a little rundown and not as clean as usual. There were numerous hairs in the bathroom (in the shower and on the walls) and an empty coke bottle under the bed. I would still recommend them for their convenient location and that they are pet friendly.

Stay at Indian Palms Resort

Posted Mar 3, 2014
Pros: Location was good.
Cons: I don't think my room was vacuumed at all.
Location: I was there for the horse show and location was good.
It was fine. I didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel, only for sleeping, really. I was there for the Thermal horse show and location was good.

Indian Palms resort and country club stay

Posted Feb 10, 2014
Loved my room on the 1st tee golf course but had a group next to me who were noisy with the noise of swinging golf clubs that went on with large amounts of people in their room. they were outside my door at night until 10 P.M . it like they were practicing the golf swing as entertainment. I was also woken up at 3;30 am with them talking loudly outside my door. Other than that, there were cigarette butts everywhere on the lawn in front of their room which was grose.. The house lady was good and the room was comforatable and I would like to stay there again when I attend the H.I.T.S horse show... Bed was very comfy overall I had a very good stay.

close to thermal horse park

Posted Feb 2, 2014
Pros: security and beds
Cons: better staff from front desk (friendlier and more knowledgeable) to better maid service (clean everywhere!) Redo bathrooms and kitchen area
Location: golf, horse park
woman at desk was ok at check in but not knowledgeable at all. There was a poster for an art fair across the street that she had no idea about (it was 5 feet from her desk on the wall and was the only one and she hadn't read it) and said there may be a fair in La Quinta but this was at the polo fields reception area ACROSS THE STREET we loved it fyi. Room looking amazing when we walked in lovely beds really nice but the kitchen area didn't have a sink and the bathroom was slightly larger then an airplane bathroom ad door opened inside so if you were in there there was NO Room for someone to come in. Super clean first day and then we noticed maid didn't dump coffee grounds and garbage from the tiny waste basket in kitchen two days in a row (we did) and no refills of dried creamer after the first day. Cups full of coffee left on counter cuz we couldn't wash them since there was no sink were not only not replaced but left on the counter so we washed in the tiny bathroom sink and got creamer at the local market. Everything closes up at 8 but there are lots of guys smoking outside since it is non smoking in rooms (thank god) but they were talking load. So would I go back YES because it was close to thermal horse show and honestly SUPER SAFE feeling! Its a gated community and in life as a single woman traveling this was a super thing I LOVED
