Everything here needs an update.Posted Dec 6, 2013
Pros: There is a great golf course. And a very friendly pro shop.
Cons: The rooms are old and tired.
Location: Palm Springs area is always a good place for shopping.
Bathroom very tiny. Old TV. Not one utensil or dish in the kitchen, makes the microwave useless.. No kitchen sink even if you did happen to bring your own dishes. On the whole, everything needs an upgrade. We have stayed in the time share units elsewhere in the resort and they are well worth the money.

You get what you pay for......sometimesPosted Nov 30, 2013
Pros: Ample parking
Cons: The service, the internet, the cleanliness.
Location: This location is really off the beaten path. It isn't close to ant restuarants or malls, however does have a basic movie theater close by.
Pros: The room was very clean, although the bathroom was not. WiFi is free but very slow. Fridge and microwave in room. Room smell disguised with air freshener Cons: The beds are terribly uncomfortable. Bathroom was not very clean. There was a notice that smocking in the room would cost you $250. Good thing I don't smoke, but the room smelled like a smocking room disguised with air freshener. Especially noticeable when you first enter the room and when you wake in the morning. WiFi, although free is very slow and drops continuously. TV programming for when you want to relax was good with directTV, but you get to watch it on an old fashion 30" CRT tube TV. Could the last you'll ever see in a hotel (possibly the world). Did not get maid service to make up the room. Air conditioning is loud and bad placement blows directly on you while you sleep. Hotel lobby and office closes at 8:00 pm It's featured as a country club and is more like motel 6 on a fairway. Summary: We booked for two nights over Thanksgiving. We stayed the first night and left after Thanksgiving dinner on the second and went home. Unfortunately because of Thanksgiving, finding another hotel was going to be very expensive so we chose to leave and drive to Los Angeles.

Great hotel!!Posted Sep 17, 2013
Location: near many fast food restaurants, and approximately 4 miles from the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino
The hotel itself is situated on a golf course in a nice area of Indio. It is within 4 miles of the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino, which is the reason for our visit. The bed was VERY comfortable with nice linens. The bathroom is very small, but it's not really a complaint. I would definitely stay there again!

Desert RETREATPosted Sep 15, 2013
Cons: Pool hours & Earlier Office hours & maid service More than twice a week
Location: Nothing to do except golf and a few simple eating places
Very nice place if only you could get in & out by nearby transponder gates instead of having to drive half way around resort to get to rooms/Condos

Clean and comfortable.Posted Aug 27, 2013
Pros: Quiet and great location.
Location: Casino's and restaurants all within a few miles.
Only problem we had is the bathroom is way too small. Hard to move around without bruising ones self. Restaurant was terrible with a very poor selection due to summer I assume. Served cold beverages warm. Staff was overwelmed. Find another restaurant nearby.

Nice alternate to high priced casino hotelsPosted Aug 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
Not a bad place. The rooms were clean and quiet, the parking lot felt safe at night too. Not many accommodations but a nice quiet getaway spot for a romantic weekend. I'd stay again
