The whole experience was terrible

Posted Jan 20, 2015
Pros: Didn't stay long enough to find anything good.
I booked a two bed room, front desk person did not disclose what he was putting us into and when we got to the room there was 1 bed and 4 of us. They offered 1 roll-a-way bed but that wasn't going to be good enough since it wouldn't hold two people. The hotel blamed Expedia.. Additionally, we were on the 1st floor and normally that's fine but noise from outside and the people above was terrible. We searched the area for a different hotel and left.

Busy weekend, under staffed??

Posted Jan 20, 2015
2nd stay, this time holiday weekend, seemed understaffed? Staff was polite but had to wait an hour for maintenance, called back and maint said they'd never been told to come. Then shower couldnt be fixed so we were moved to a 1 bed w/ the most uncomfortable roll away ever made. Called for room service for breakfast and was left on hold for 5 mins, called back and were told I'd been disconnected and they didn't have my room # to call back. But had no dial tone? Hm. However, everyone was polite, both rooms were clean, front desk incredibly helpful despite being obviously understaffed for a fully booked weekend. Pro tip: Don't get a 1st floor room. Car headlights in your sliding doors all night. 2nd/3rd much quieter.

Didn't have our room upon check in (2 queen beds), so put us in handicapped accessible room. Only had one queen so gave us a HORRIBLE roll-away

It's fine in a pinch but it's very dated....

Posted Jan 18, 2015
I've stayed here twice while work is being done to my house. It's quite i'll say that. But it needs some serious attention. That halls are neglected and smell funny. The interiors are very dated and the lobby is strait up eighties. The free breakfast is ok. Pool area is sad and beige. It seems to cater to the over 60 (70+) set. The bar is depressing and lackluster. It's kinda like time forgot this place. If I was with my family I'd say stay down the road at Miramonte and if I was with friends I'd say stay at the Ace, Viceroy or the Parker. But if you home is under renovation.....it's ok for the price....but the 40 resort fee is ridiculous, just ridiculous.....

OK hotel somewhat dated.

Posted Jan 16, 2015
Pros: Location was very good
Cons: Needs updating
Location: Golf was excellent as were restaurants and clubs
Everything worked fine but was somewhat noisy as sound traveled a lot between floors and rooms.

Indian Wells Hotel

Posted Jan 15, 2015
Pros: The jacuzzi was nice. It stayed open until 11pm which was a plus.
Cons: Sound proof the rooms.
Location: Palm Desert, Palm Springs.
The room was clean and the bathroom was nice but the sounds from other rooms were so loud. The people in the room above us got up at 4:30am and made so much noise for hours which woke me up numerous times. The floors creek when you walk.

Outdated furniture and appliances.Glad that It was only for one night. Beautiful view and area. Breakfast was okay, but no fresh wafels. I like to bake wafels for morning breakfast. Old furniture and carpets had stain on it. On TV HBO channels and ton of movies. Pictures were impressive, but in reality not really

2015 regional visit

Posted Jan 13, 2015
Pros: The continental breakfast was laid out early and there was a good selection and everything seems fresh.
Cons: Nothing for us to mention
Location: Since this is a high end retirement and vacation location there are many 4 star restaurants within 4-5 miles
Although this is a golf resort we did not play golf our visit was for a business convention at another facility, so about the only thing we did here was eat breakfast and sleep here. With that said we found the hotel to be quite, clean, the staff that we did interact with was friendly. On the map it appeared to be a bit out of the way but almost everything is within a few miles if you have transportation. We enjoyed our short stay.
