Amazing Place to Stay!

Posted Sep 13, 2014
This hotel is impressive from the front door all the way to the room shower. I was not impressed, however, how a simple request for a replacement to a broken ironing board was handled. Stay here anyway. It's worth the trip!

Great hotel located near many golf courses.

From the check-in to the check out. Our experience at this hotel was great. Staff we're awesome to care for our needs and restaurant staff was top notch. Everyone provided my family and I with outstanding service. Upgrades to this hotel were very noticeable from the last time I stayed here. Rooms were great and very clean. Bathrooms were as well. I do agree that the carpet thru out the hotel does need to be change. Other then that. My stay here was outstanding.

This is not a resort!

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: Only that it was in Indian Wells.
Cons: Better amenities, cleanliness and service.
I was expecting a resort hotel. This hotel is not at all a resort. First of all, they need to turn the air on. Walking through the hotel, it was so hot it was hard to breathe. They were trying to cut corners on air conditioning which made it uncomfortable. They also need to take down their Christmas garland it's August. The management there just does not put any effort out. Walking through the hotel I saw dishes outside doors, glasses all over and so I was not impressed by the cleanliness. The pool was loaded with kids and was super crowded because it's too small for the hotel so we were unable to hang by the pool. They have a bar pool side, but it does not offer a pool side menu like you expect in a resort. Breakfast was terrible and there wasn't any way to rent movies or watch pay per view. In summer when it's hot it is nice to watch movies but they only have HBO and the Hobbit was playing all day, nothing else.

Old Time Vegas-type hotel

Posted Aug 31, 2014
Pros: The staff seemed pleasant - they all made eye contact and smiled or greeted us. The rooms were clean. The breakfast did the job. We loved the price
Cons: Common areas were a little tired/worn.
We only stayed one night on the way to somewhere else, so we mostly arrived, slept, ate breakfast and left. We felt like we were in one of those old-time Vegas hotels when we entered. The entrance opens up to a large stage/dance floor/cocktail lounge like what you would see in a movie from a by-gone era.The man at the front desk was thorough and asked if we had been there before. He explained a few things without being condescending or like a tour guide. We appreciate that he explained well how to get to our room, because we were very tired from traveling and a little loopy. The pool and view was beautiful, also fitting with the era. The rooms were clean and looked like they had been updated. I was a little worried because we were close to the elevator and ice machine and our room was facing the parking lot, but did not hear outside noises at all, although the AC was a little loud. The staff I ran into was helpful and smiled at me. When I took the stairs, I ran into a staff person who smiled and said good morning and stood aside to let me through (even though she didn't need to, but that may be what the staff is asked to do.) We felt the hotel was a little 'tired' in the common areas, but we were happy it was clean and quiet. Breakfast was fine - cereal, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, apples, oranges, and a variety of breads to toast.

We arrived late and left pretty early, but the size of the room and beautiful bathroom were a plus. Large closet with a safe! Very friendly staff.

Great hotel and the cost was perfect.

Pros: Didn't get to see much of the hotel, but would return for a longer stay.
Got to hotel at midnight, on our way to Westminster, Ca., for a short stay. The accommodations were excellent, the continetial breakfast ok, high in carbohydrates, but couldn't expect much for a free meal.
