Would definitely stay here again!

Pros: The hotel employees were great! Views awesome!
Cons: Jut change the lobby decor as you walk in. Prices for drinks really high!
Location: Great location. Lots of restaurants and shopping within 10 mins.
Hotel staff are so nice! From the valets to the housekeepers....Everyone greeted us with a smile and a hello except for a bartender at the Rockwood Grill. Room. Room was nice. Shower very small, hard to shave my legs and I am petite. Only one sink....should have 2 at this point in time. Beautiful view of the mountains , golf course and pool! Loved waking up to that view everyday! Plus the weather was awesome...sunny every day...loved it! Beautiful property, walked around it every day. Lobby nice with a great view, water coming into it with boats to give you a ride throughout the property. The decor as you come in is a little tacky with the fake flowers in clear vases....I would change that but other than that everything was very nice. Pool staff was great....Jaime, Kyle and DZ were the best! So friendly, great service! Drinks were pretty expensive ($14 for a Bloody Mary). So be prepared to spend if you want drinks by the pool. We had the best spinach/artichoke dip at the Rockwood grill. Great fish tacos at Fiaherman's Landing. Starbucks in the lobby. Grocery store and drug store right across the street so we could walk and get snacks and sandwiches to bring back....less expensive. Fridge in the room! My husband played golf a couple of times and absolutely loved the course...said it was in great shape and had beautiful views! In a nutshell...would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to others.

The resort was absolutely beautiful! I can't wait to return. The spa was the complete upside to our girls getaway. It was very relaxing and much needed. The only negative thing (if u even call it that) was we booked a room with a sofa and we didn't have it in the room. We made do without but would have loved an area to just hang out. Other then that the multiple pools were amazing and the drinks they served were delicious! Already trying to book again!

A great close-by vacation

Pros: A true resort with plenty to do for everyone
Cons: Another pool for the times when you want to read and not party.
Location: Great shopping and many excellent restaurants are very close by.
We had a couple days to get out of LA, so we shot over to Desert Springs. The golf course was great for me, and my wife and daughter loved the energy of the pool area. Something for everybody!

This is no JW.

The quality of staff and food at this hotel is like a regular Marriott. It was a circus. Room service food is on par with Denny's. The hotel had no ability to accommodate the number of guests. Starbucks line was out to the lobby with no alternatives to get your morning coffee.
