“Jewel of the desert”

Old world charm and class, attentive staff, beautiful grounds, enough for active adults as well as children to keep busy yet quiet and calm are everywhere. Food, in room and dining on site superb. Morgan's restaurant delivers with world class food at fair prices. Golf at PGA Dunes and Mountain (Mtn worth the extra money) top notch as are the tennis facilities. Adult pool, main pool with smaller pools outside a cluster of casitas is perfect. The staff is ever ready to serve but know when to just let you relax and enjoy. Large 46 acre grounds, no building over 2 stories and a first class spa.

“La Quinta Resort- you WILL want to go back!!!”

La Quinta is truly an amazing place. Like other reviewers have stated, it is not a new hotel. You need to accept that and know that going in-move on- it's awesome!!! This is a resort like no other I've stayed at- ever. The grounds are simply amazing, the pools and pool staff are great. There are pools scattered everywhere, but the main pool has great music, good food, an awesome vibe. Great spot for families with kids of all ages. That said- if you don't want to be around kids there are some times to avoid. Spring, thanksgiving and mid-winter break. Otherwise it's pretty quiet. The restaurants are top notch- the grounds are stunning. The tennis and facilities and spa are great. (gym is older- but they also have terrific classes. Close to lots. Note- if you have a larger group you can rent a villa. Tennis villas are closest to the action. One complaint- the little casitas in the hotel are like a maze at night. Hard to find your room and some of the mapped areas lacked adequate lighting. This was frustrating.

“Excellent desert retreat.”

Beautiful grounds. Excellent pool. Good meals. We were there during the Coachella Music Festival, so the partygoers were gone in the evening and when they returned, we didn't hear them at all. The rooms (Casas) were very comfortable and well equipped. No "tag" to tell housekeeping to come back later, so sometimes she knocked just after 8. Hot, hot, hot, after April 15. Next year we'll come earlier.

“Perfect weekend get away!”

Hotel staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. We requested an early check in and late check out and were given both with no issues. The room and grounds were beautiful and the pools were well kept and not overly crowded. Everything about our stay was enjoyable and I would stay there again and recommend this hotel to a friend.

“One-Stop Vacation”

We were so impressed by the hotel cleanliness, staffing and overall beauty. The privacy of the casitas and the expansive grounds were just impecable. And the food...best hotel food ever. The restaurants on property are a MUST try. Even the poolside food was delicious!

“Can't wait to go back”

Couldn't have had a better atmosphere, all of the staff is pleasant and capable. Room was perfect for us. They could have better parking facilities but that wasn't a problem.
