Definitely going back!

Posted Nov 14, 2014
Pros: Everything!
Cons: Nothing!
Location: We didn't leave the resort as we kept the fun at the resort, but grocery stores and restaurants are nearby.
Seven couples celebrated a 40th birthday party and we had an amazing time! We felt as if we were the only ones there. Staff was very helpful and restaurant was delicious. Rooms were spacious an accommodating. The resort setting and landscaping was gorgeous. I want to go back for a girls trip and enjoy the spa!

Nice Hotel To Visit

Posted Nov 5, 2014
Pros: Quiet and beautiful grounds.
Cons: Room service food
Location: Great location
We checked into La Quinta Resort on our way back to Phoenix from our son's wedding in Santa Barbara. After a hectic week, we needed a day to unwind and relax. The hotel was very quiet and relaxing. Margarita's and chips on Adobe's patio hit the spot. Even are small dog was relaxed. The room was comfortable and clean but even though it was remodeled, it still is a little tired. The plumbing in the room, drains etc, are a bit antiquated. I do not recommend the room service, as the food was terrible and over priced. Over priced is ok, if I am getting something good for the money. That all being said, the grounds were impeccable and we enjoyed our stay. We look forward to staying there again in the future.

Classic gem

Posted Oct 24, 2014
Pros: Individual casitas, relaxed resort vibe
Cons: Signage for casita"blocks" for night.
Beautiful grounds. Casitas harken back to a bygone era & are well-appointed & amazingly quiet. Lots of lovely common areas & pools. Had stayed at another hotel but moved here for one night. Is a bit off the beaten path if you want to shop or go into the towns for dinner but you may not want to leave. It is easy to get disoriented coming in from dinner in town at night. Signs noting the numbers for blocks of rooms at the parking areas would be helpful. Would return.

A jewel in the desert!

Posted Oct 20, 2014
Pros: Beautifully appointed, clean beyond clean, spectacular...
Cons: They are always updating and rebuilding some part of the hotel - sometimes too much!
This was our second trip to La Quinta - and another fantastic experience! If you want a self-contained 5 Star vacation then you'll love this place - whether its the piano bar, or drinks at Adobe, or star gazing in the perfect sky. For us - its our romantic weekend get away only a few hours away from LA!

Bought this hotel as "Palm Springs" It was so FAR!

Posted Oct 1, 2014
Pros: the hotel itself is 4.5/5. a little older, but a very nice stay
Cons: dont list this with palm springs or state distance. This was La Quinta
Location: paseo drive is nice
the hotel itself is excellent. But I was working in palm springs 12 hours a day. So 45 minutes each way made for a horrible days. Why would expedia say this is near palms springs.

Surprised!

Posted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
Location: The spa was nearby as well as golf. I would have preffered to be closer to the Plaza since I do not use the spa but it was still very nice!
I had reservations for a Casita room with 2 queen beds however upon my arrival none were available. We were upgraded to a 1 bedroom 2 bath casita with a living room, full kitchen and 2 balconies. This was a wonderful surprise especially since it was a trip to celebrate my birthday. Awesome!

Love La Quinta Resort & Spa

Posted Sep 29, 2014
Upgraded us to a suite villa! Service was amazing. Went to "adult pool" and that was so-so, but server at Main pool was terrific. She took care of our drinks and and even gave us complimentary appetizers to make up for food @ other pool. Between that, front desk and staff all around, it was a perfect weekend! Beautiful resort!
