Cons: The air-conditioning in my room was faulty (or inadequate).
Location: Golf! Golf! which was what my holiday was about.

Best Girls Weekend Ever!

My sister's and I had a wonderful trip! The staff at the Marriott were very attentive. They greeted us with wine and friendly smiles. Our room was very clean and spacious! They had shuttle buses to take to the main JW Marriott Resort which was really nice. We loved our drive Rocking Raj! We will definitely be back!

Nice Hotel, peaceful setting, well located

Posted Feb 27, 2014
Pros: Expedia
Cons: small thing, fridge leak, they reacted quickly.
Location: We had a car so found nothing too far, but we did put a lot of miles on the car.
Peaceful stay, took us a while to figure things out. As a timeshare site with owners staying there was different levels of service and it took some time to figure out what we were entitled to, ie: maid service, kitchen supplies. It was all very well laid out. There was ground floor units and second floor walk up units, a wide variety of locations and views within the complex, a shuttle which ran twice an hour to help you move around the complex. although we walked most places.

Nice hotel close proximity to pools

Very friendly staff. Excellent food in restaurants. Good security felt safe. Downside is over priced for what else is available at Palm Desert.

Deluxe room on golf course

Posted Feb 21, 2014
Pros: Beautiful grounds, immaculate housekeeping and maintenance, excellent service.
Location: Villas are centrally located; restaurants and grocery store are 1/4 mile away. Freeway is about 1 mile. Surrounded by residences and office parks.
We booked a ground floor room (in two story building) with king bed, pull out sofa and kitchenette and with sliding door opening to a small patio looking out over a pond and golf course. Relaxing and beautiful view to wake up to. The room was immaculate and in excellent condition with all the amenities. The bed was extremely comfortable. The air conditioning was easy to control and relatively quiet. Parking was close to the front door. The grounds and pools are beautifully maintained. Check in was easy. We arrived after dark and didn't notice until morning that the garden in back of our unit (and only our unit) was just dirt, and beyond it was a barbecue area and another row of condos. Although the room itself was fine, the view was ugly. When we asked to move to another room, the front desk apparently was unaware of the condition of the grounds in front of that unit, and they (Petra and Alyssa) were very helpful and gracious about moving us to another room, which was excellent. All staff was friendly and helpful. We booked through Expedia, paid $946 for four nights, including all taxes and a $25 per day credit, against which we charged our lunches and snacks, including made to order sandwiches that we took on an excursion to Joshua Tree NP. We had lunch at the Water's Edge restaurant at the large pool, and the food was excellent. We'll stay here again.
