“Great for wedding”
Stayed at the Miramonte for a wedding in early December. Staff was courteous and helpful. Room was well-appointed and spacious. Bathroom facilities were adequate. We could not use the pool because of the low temperatures, but they seemed quite nice. Food at the main restaurant was well done, save for one dinner entree. Spa was excellent, and well worth the cost. Hotel seems to be unaware of the spa credit provided by Expedia, however.
“About average for Indian Wells!”
Over booked the Rooms and could not give us the room we reserved. The hotel service was fine everyone was pleasant, everything worked. Guests above us sounded like they we learning to tap dance.
“Needs some serious updating of the rooms”
The grounds are lovely, the staff is friendly and helpful. However, we found our room to be very much outdated. Most everything in the room needs to be redone. Would stay there again if the hotel gets a facelift.
“The room was comfortable , but room rating in older wing of hotel, should be no more than 3 or 3+.”
Overall I believe the general hotel is a 4 rating, and while the room overall was comfortable, the rooms located in the old sections should be qualified at no more than 3 or 3+ at best. Based primarily on the fact that there was no elevator to upper level and generally a bit dreary in hallways. noise of air conditioner, and other amenities. . Based on the 4 rating of the hotel I was a bit disppointed in the room as noted above.
“Staff was amazing!”
Can't say enough about the entire staff. My friend got food poisoning at the other hotel we had booked for the night before, I called the hotel to find out if we could get early check in as she was ill and needed to lay down. The manager said absolutely! ( we checked in before noon) The Hotel staff was so amazing.... They literally rushed to accommodate our every need. The Pool area was fantastic with a nice menu poolside and very reasonable prices. The rooms were very nice, beds were so comfortable( I had the best nights sleep in I don't know how long). We ate the Restaurant and It's was very nice, the food was delicious. I can't wait until will be back!
“Very, very expensive!!!”
Nice looking place but they charge an extra fee for EVERYTHING!!! Park yourself, $8.00. Coffee in your room $5-10! One egg for breakfast, $3.00! $25.00 per night as an extra "resort fee!"Most of these extra expenses are far and above the very high rates you already have to pay AND they are not listed on the Expedia site! If you are really rich then you will love it...Middle class and below, BEWARE of your shrinking wallet! I am writing this from the Miramonte Resort room right now...Very, very expensive!
“Wonderful Management!”
I was especially impressed by the hotel manager Brandon! He did a wonderful job in making our stay a very pleasnt one! Thanks!
“Beautiful resort! Will definitely book again.”
I booked this resort for a girls weekend with my friends. We arrived late at night and took a quick self tour of the premises. We thought it was beautiful at night, but in the daylight it is absolutely gorgeous!! The staff is extremely friendly and courteous. Some guests were not too pleasant (stuck up). We didn't get a pool/courtyard view as we had requested, but other than that our stay was very relaxing and enjoyable. We didn't have time to try the spa, but will definitely try it next time!
“thumbs up”
The upside: Excelent value hotel. Beautiful, convenient, great air conditioning. The casita arrangement is very comfortable and allows for a feeling of privacy. I never made it to the adult pool, but the general pool was very refreshing and peaceful. Everyone on staff was very freindly and professional, but visit the bartender - even if you don't indulge - he's a terrific guy, knows he area very well and can give good advice on places to go and see. The downside: The golf concierge seemed to be non-existent - maybe he's easier to find when the weather is cooler. The litle, in-room fridge was totally broken. - oh well! The good defintiely outweighs the bad. I'd gladly return to the Miramonte.
“Under rehab”
Grounds are lovely. Older hotel & working on renovations. Plastic up in lobby. No covered parking. My air conditioner was extremely noisy. Funky lock on sliding glass door. Make shift because handle was broken. Had to pay extra to rent a small refrig. for room. Even the help apologized for age of rooms. resort fee includes??????not really sure. Good restuarant/bar & meeting facilities.
