It is in the heart of Downtown Palm Springs

Posted Sep 3, 2014
Pros: It was priced right
Cons: The parking situation, drove around a few times looking for parking.
Location: It is in the heart of Downtown Palms Springs, everything is walking distance.
Stayed here last minute and was pleased with the room and the nice friendly staff.

Well situated, but average property.

Pros: The grounds are nice with lush lawns and large citrus and pine trees. You're within easy walking distance of a number of restaurants and stores.
Cons: Providing chilled drinking water in the pool area would go a long way.
It's an adequate property in downtown Palm Springs. Nothing remarkable, but it really could be a lot more. Once the new Kimpton hotel is built next door, they'll need to up their game. Rooms could use some sprucing up -- the shower curtain rod in the bathroom was wobbly. Lot of drinking in and near the pool which also had a bunch of kids there, but that may have been partly because it was a holiday weekend. I would probably pay more to stay somewhere nicer in the future.

Quaint hotel, great location

Posted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: Location, free hotel parking, spacious rooms
Cons: The mounted shampoo/conditioner dispenser needs to be labeled
This hotel is in a great location- right in the heart of downtown. We walked from the hotel to dinner in a less than 3 minutes! The room was surprisingly very roomy, and the bed was super comfy. The shower is small, but that's really the only con. The hotel is has a homey & quaint feel which I really like. The pool isn't anything spectacular but the pool boy was really friendly and there are plenty of lounge chairs plus a really neat hammock. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone staying a few nights and wanting to be close to downtown.

Great downtown PS location

Posted Aug 12, 2014
Location: Ruby's, Coldstone, Lulu's Bistro, Starbucks, Coffee Bean and some cool downtown shops are all a short walking distance - right across the street!
Great location - can walk to many restaurants and coffee shops! Room was clean and presentable. Beds were extra comfortable. A/C was working very well - great for summer hot days/nights. Felt that the room and facilities were a bit older. Overall it was a good stay. I would most likely stay here again.

A little time away

Posted Aug 10, 2014
Went there just to get away and relax for a few days. Hotel was very quiet which we liked. The room a little smaller than I thought we were getting but worked out. Waking distance to everything.

nice hotel close

Posted Aug 8, 2014
Pros: We loved the location because it was walking distance to all the shops and restaurants! The pool was also very nice and family friendly.
Cons: the beds are way to small for two people... even the kids had trouble sleeping comfortably.
Location: Location was great!
our overall stay at the hotel was pleasant. staff were friendly and help full. there was a desk lamp on the floor with a cord cut off. we informed the front desk and it was removed and replaced the next day. Room was smaller than we expected, the biggest down side was the beds, they definitely are too small for two people to sleep comfortably. instead of two queens they looked like full size beds. The pool was clean and very family friendly. over all the hotel is good for a one night stay, but we were there for 3 nights and I wish I would have stayed in another hotel.

Access to shop, restaurants, and casino. Loved it!

Pros: Very peaceful.
Cons: Pool open later in summer time for adults only
Location: Everything
IWalking distance to shops was the best. If I decided to have a drink I did not have to drive which was so convenient.

It was nice and cozy

Great hotel for a tiny stay. The only thing I didn't like to much was limited parking and also the building looks old...but besides that it was clean the staff was always available and it was a very comfortable stay. I would stay here again
